Elden Ringis the latest Soulslike game made by director Hidetaka Miyazaki and the gaming community has nothing but positive feedback. The genre is not for the faint of heart and encourages the players to think fast and to endure.

It appears that the gaming community discovered Messmer’s weakness.

The boss battles are no joke and the base game already featured a handful of powerful enemies, theShadow of the Erdtreeexpansion did not hold back with Messmer. Some players got creative and discovered an unconventional method to beat this powerful boss.

One Elden Ring Player Put Messmer in His Rightful Place

FromSoftwareintentionally designed its games to be harder than usual because it could help build character, encourage players to improve, and offer assistance to those in need. Legendary player known as Let Me Solo Her now goes by Let Me Solo Him and hasset their sights on Messmer for theElden Ringexpansion. The player fears no boss fight and will go down swinging rather than turning tail and will likely applaud this unique strategy to take down one of the hardest enemies inShadow of the Erdtree.

It appears that throwing rocks at Messmer is an efficient strategy. This tactic bears a heavy resemblance to the legend of David using stones to defeat Goliath. The Tarnished has the advantage of size, players are more nimble and agile to avoid incoming attacks and deliver smaller blows.

Throwing rocks at an enemy boss could bea decent alternative to relying on attacks involving magicand shooting from a distance. It all falls on which option is much more viable in the situation, the fight with Messmer in his Base Serpent mode makes it more convenient to stay within range and it would be easier to dodge and evade incoming pound attacks and for players to pick up a rock and chuck it.

Messmer Is Easily Demolished After an Elden Ring Player throws stones at the Demigod

Beating enemy bosses in Soulslike games requires timing and strategy, not just raw power and strength. Players can create fantastic custom builds that could easily destroy anything standing in their way like aperfumer buildthat one player has worked on and is satisfied to see its efficiency in the field.

“I don’t think myself or FromSoft have the knowledge or ability”: Hidetaka Miyazaki Wants More Elden Ring in the World, but Can’t See Himself or His Dev Capable

There is no right or wrong way to approach an enemy encounter in this franchise. It does not matter how an enemy is defeated as long as they are defeated in a way that does not contradict the core values and ideals of the genre and is to persevere no matter how hard it gets.

The developers have been building up hype for Messmer for quite some time. Seeing this powerful demigod fall to a player’s rock-throwing skills is amusing and encouraging.

These powerful demigods are not immune to the laws of physics and quick thinking.

Perhaps other players hesitant to try the expansion will feel motivated to try this strategy themselves. It may not be the ideal solution to fighting an enemy boss but it has been tested and proven.
