The actor had previously retired from the role afterLogan.

With his MCU debut and if he decides to return, chances of Jackman’s Wolverine crossing paths with other beloved Marvel characters are great. Wolverine might have a small chance vs MCU Hulk cuz they really weakened him down. Any other version of the Hulk absolutely tanks Wolverine.

Wolverine And The Hulk Have Fought In The Comics

With the acquisition of Fox Studios by Disney, the X-Men will finally be making it into the MCU, and the first two characters to fully transition would be Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds.
Jackman’s inclusion in the MCU could finally put him in the path of Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk and an adaptation of the classic storylineUltimate Wolverine vs. The Hulkcould finally come to fruition. In the comics, Wolverine is tasked with assassinating the Hulk by S.H.I.E.L.D. director Nick Fury. Logan goes to a village in Tibet to find Hulk relaxing.
The two battle it out and the Hulk ends up tearing Logan apart in half. Logan then attempts to save Bruce from death after he realizes that the love of his life Betty Ross turned into the Ultimate She-Hulk.
