Thankfully, we were also due for a new Nintendo Direct to highlight what’s coming to the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 systems later this year. After months of rumors, Nintendo confirmed that we’ll be getting a direct very, very soon, but it may not have all the news and information you’re hoping for.
How & When To Watch The July 2025 Nintendo Direct
The next Nintendo Direct will be a partner showcase featuring 25 minutes of Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 games from the company’s publishing partners.
That means, yes, there’s a chance we’ll get information on Hollow Knight: Silksong, which may not be as far-fetched as you think with the game beingplayable at Gamescom 2025! There’s also a chance thatHades 2willshadowdropits 1.0 release as well. Again, with this being a Partner Showcase, don’t expect to see new information from Nintendo’s internal development teams.
Metroid Prime 4 Just Got Rated — And That Can Only Mean One Thing for Nintendo Fans
Metroid Prime 4: Beyond has been rated in South Korea, indicating that its release date, perhaps in a big Nintendo Direct presentation, may be nigh.
Beyond Hollow Knight and Hades, there have been some recent third-party surprises in these Nintendo Directs, so here’s to hoping we get something good from it.
