How to Cure Vampirism in Oblivion Remastered
There are a couple of ways to remove Vampirism inOblivion Remastered. Just like the original, players can remove this annoying disease byeither completing the Vampire Cure questorcuring themselves at Deepscorn Hollow. I recommend going with the latter since it’s much simpler.
The Vampire Cure quest involves going to a bunch of merchants and purchasing items, which doesn’t sound too hard. However, if a player has fully turned into a Vampire, then merchants won’t want to speak with you.

In this case, it’s only recommended to attempt the Vampire Cure quest if you haven’t fully transformed into a Vampire and are at the beginning stages of the disease.
If you decide you want to attempt the Vampire Cure quest, you canstart it by speaking to Raminus Polus at the Arcane Universityin Imperial City. After completing the Vampire Cure quest, players will earn a consumable potion that will remove Vampirism.
How to Remove Vampirism at Deepscorn Hollow
The Deepscorn Hollow is a DLC add-on for the original Oblivion, but since the Remastered versionhas all DLC included, players can access it whenever they like.
In the image attached, you can find Deepscorn Hollow’s exact location. Once you reach this location in the southeast region of the map, you’ll encounter abody of water with broken-down stone structures sticking out.

Once inside this location, take the first left, go through the door, and take the next left to find an altar in the middle of the room. This is thealtar that can cure Vampirismin Oblivion Remastered, but first, you needPurgeblood Salts.Luckily, there are some nearby.
To the left of the altar,you’ll find a mineral nodethat can be interacted with. Interact with it to grab some Purgeblood Salts and then return to the altar and offer them up.
The game will ask you if you want to cure your Vampirism, which you should then select “Yes” to get rid of it. This altar can be used whenever you extract Vampirism and there’s no limit.
How to Get Vampirism
There are a couple of ways to contract Vampirism in Oblivion Remastered. It’s good to know this information so you can avoid getting this disease again.
First, players can get Vampirism bygetting attacked by a Vampire. If the player is hit by a vampire’s weapon, the player will contract the beginning stages of the disease. It takesthree in-game days for the disease to take over.

The other way to contract Vampirism is through theDark Brotherhood questline. During the “Darkness Eternal” quest, Vicente Vailtieri will offer something called a “Dark Gift.” Accepting this gift will begin the transition of turning into a Vampire and obtaining Vampirism.

While having Vampirism has its negatives, it also provides some buffs for the player. Each phase (4 in total) has its own benefits and negatives, which you may find below.

Additionally, having Vampirismaffects the player’s attributes and skills, depending on the stage of the disease.
