To say that Horizon Zero Dawn is a great PlayStation 4 title is probably a bit of an understatement. It still remains one of Sony’s best selling games three years after its release winning a bunch ofawardsin the process and sellingover 10 million copies to date. Due to the news thatHorizon Zero Dawnis planning to become a full-blown trilogy and with Guerrilla beinghard at work for Horizon Zero Dawn 2for Sony’s next-gen console the PS5, it seems fitting to show off some of the fantastic cosplay talent out there who put their heart and soul into portraying the game’s protagonist, Aloy. Daisy_cosplay from Rome, Italy decided to dress up as one of her favorite characters from Horizon Zero Dawn and since she’s such a huge fan of the game as well, she really took it to another level. It’s incredible how Daisy managed to recreate each garment of Aloy’s attire by hand to make it as real as possible, even Daisy’s hair long red hair is done exactly like Aloy’s making this cosplay one of a kind. Accompanied by her photographerazproductioncosp, they both recreated the Womb of the Mountain - a main quest in Horizon Zero Dawn that takes Aloy through the sacred mountain - as a backdrop. From the style of Daisy’s cosplay, she is displaying the Nora Brave outfit that Aloy automatically obtains during the quest, Mother’s Heart.

Aloy’s Nora clothing primarily consists of animal hides, cured leather, feathers, linen, or wooden beads and as we see from Daisy’s reenactment, she’s done an excellent job at mimicking this particular design. Some other outfits that Aloy acquires and that Daisy could have worn are Carja Silks, Banuk Trailblazer, The Nora Lookout, Carja Storm Ranger, Banuk Ice Hunter, Banuk Sickness Eater or the pretty awesome looking Shield-Weaver armor. Maybe we will see these in another of Daisy’s cosplay adventures. If you’d like to check out her entire range of cosplay endeavors, head on over to herInstagrambut as a word of warning, some are NSFW.

For those of you who don’t own a PlayStation 4, the news that Horizon Zero Dawn will be making its way to PC is great news. In an interview with Sony Interactive Entertainment’s Head of Worldwide Studios, Hermen Hulst finallyput the rumors to bedand confirmed thatHorizon Zero Dawncoming to PCwas true. As a huge fan of the game myself, I was thrilled to hear that more people would experience Aloy’s adventures for themselves. Many of us love a good board game so when board game makersSteamforged Gameslaunched the Kickstarter campaign for its upcoming Horizon Zero Dawn: The Board Game, I couldn’t be happier. Unfortunately due to COVID-19, it has beenput on holdfor now but hopefully, everything will be up and running as soon as possible because, I for one, would love to get my hands on it.

In the meantime though, if you love comics as much as I do then July can’t come quick enough. Anew comic book seriesbased on Horizon Zero Dawn and set to launch on June 14, 2025, written by Anne Toole, is set to explore the story after the events of the first game. Anne is known for having been a writer on Horizon Zero Dawn, as well as written work that can be found in games such as Days Gone,The Witcher, and TV shows such as “Days of Our Lives.”

Horizon Zero Dawn is available now on the PS4 and later on in the year on PC. If you haven’t played it yet, you can check outDualShockers’ review.
