Honkai Star Rail’s Stars Are Cold Toys Mission is part of the Trailblaze Mission, in the Sweltering Morning Sun. This engaging and challenging adventure presents players with a range of exciting obstacles, including mind-bendingpuzzles, the intricate activation of the Energy Hub to open the gate, and intense battles againstpowerful enemies.

To help you complete this quest, we have provided a detailed guide that will walk you through each step, so you’re able to begin and end this quest with ease.
Where To Begin The Quest
To embark on this quest, one must first reachTrailblaze Level24 and complete theSoldiers Stay Silentmission. Once accomplished,The Stars Are Cold Toysmission will come into play, where you’ll find yourself inside the Fragmentum Maze deafened by the silence. In this mission, you will be tasked with solving intricate puzzles and engaging in epic battles with the formidable foe, Cocolia.
As soon as you start your mission, your first task is to venture deeper into the Corridor of Fading Echoes and investigate the item discarded on the side of the road. There you will eventually find Bronya’s Snow Globe and Cocolia’s Echoes, which have been caused by some kind of Fragmentum. Moving on toward the gate where they went, you will realize that it is unfortunately locked, and you will need to activate all the mechanisms through theMechanism Energy Hubto gain access.

Activating The Mechanism Energy Hub
In order to progress further in the mission, you’ll need to activate four Mechanism Energy Hubs. Here is how you can do that:
Mechanism Energy Hub #1
The first mechanism, which will be prompted by the quest, will lead you to discover three other mechanisms:
Mechanism Energy Hub #2
After activating the first mechanism, head right, and you’ll come across an enemy. Take him out, then approach theControllerto open the gate. After the gate has been opened, continue straight and take another right, where you’ll find the second mechanism guarded by another enemy. Defeat the guard and activate it.
Mechanism Energy Hub #3
Adjacent to the second mechanism, you’ll discover the third Mechanism Energy Hub. Unfortunately, you won’t access it just yet as a gate obstructs the entry, which you can only open by using theControllerlocated on the other side. In order to reach it, you mustactivate the Controller near the Space Anchor. Upon interaction, three choices will appear: Turn Clockwise, Turn Counter-Clockwise, or Leave. ChooseTurn Counter-Clockwiseto unlock the path.
After turning the bridge, the path to the right will now be accessible. Follow this path, proceed straight, take a right turn, and voilà! You’ll find yourself standing in front of the firstCavern of Corrosion. Ascend the stairs to your right and reach thethird Mechanism Energy Hub. However, be prepared to face an enemy guarding the Hub. Once you defeat the guard, activate the third Mechanism Energy Hub.
Mechanism Energy Hub #4
From the third Mechanism Energy Hub, turn right and approach theController. Use it to unlock the door so that you’re able to open the connecting corridors between the two. Once you’ve done that, go to the bridge controller and turn itCounter-Clockwise. Now, return to the path near the Cavern of Corrosion and proceed to the last mechanism. You must defeat the guard and activate the fourth and final Mechanism Energy Hub.

Accessing the Locked Mechanism Door
Upon activating the fourth Mechanism Energy Hub, proceed straight ahead until you reach a corridor that leads to a gate. Use theControllerto unlock the gate and witness another of Cocolia and Bronya’s echoes. As you continue through the Corridor of Fading Echoes, you will reach the previously locked gate and encounterGuardian Shadowenemies. Defeat them in order to progress.

Taking Down Cocolia’s Echo
Upon defeating Guardian Shadow enemies, you will discover another echo. Follow the path forward and use theControllerto unlock the next gate. Follow the yellow quest marker, which will lead you to another Cocolia’s echo. Be prepared for a battle that ensues when you confront her. After defeating her, speak toMarch 7th,Dan Heng, andSeeleto complete the quest.
