Since you’ll face this boss later in the game, you’ll be bringing a number of weapons and abilities into this fight, giving you a few different ways to approach it. Here’s how to battle the endless hordes when you enter the arena and come out on top.

A Less Than Impressive Intro

As you make your way through the various areas of Zephyr, you’ll encounter many obstacles to overcome andcountless hordes of G3 troopsyou’ll need to dispose of before you can reach Dr. Giblets. When you eventually find this notorious bounty of yours, the Gatlians you wield will be more than ready to bring him to justice.

But surprisingly, the battle is over before it even begins. Once you come face-to-face with Dr. Giblets, he’ll trigger the typical boss intro reel. But unlike his counterparts,Dr. Giblets slips on the stool he’s standing on, smashes his helmet, and bleeds out in front of you. After carving off a piece of him using Knifey, you may be thinking that this bounty is complete. But before you know it,you’re dropped through a trap door into a battlefield against an army of G3 troopsand a pre-recorded message from Dr. Giblets.

Minion Mayhem

The actual battle begins once you hit the ground. At first, you’ll encounter a handful of the base-level minions running around and shooting at you at the ground level. Like any other G3 battle, simplyrun around and take them out with your Gatlians or Knifey.

There are also many vials of health and extra gatterall lying around for you to claim should you need it. This part of the battle is relatively easy, but feel free to use the health and gatterall as you see fit. You won’t be able to grab them later on in the battle.

Use Your Mag-Boots

About halfway through the battle, the arena will be filled with poison gas. This means you will not be able to use the floors or lower platforms you were fighting on before. As the gas fills the room, some of the platforms will rise higher than it, giving you some ground to fight on.

you may alsouse your Mag-Boots to stick to the wallsand fight the enemies from there. Not only are you at the highest point in the arena, but there are also pipes you can hide behind while firing off shots. This is the most effectivedefensive strategyyou can take.Use Kenny or Sweezy to fire off shots at distant enemies. You can also use Creature to take down any close-to-mid-range enemiesas well.

Stay Mobile

Even if you are using the Mag-Boot approach, there may be times when the enemies will get around your defenses and overwhelm you. This is especially true in the later parts of the battle since themost elite versions of each enemy are on the battlefield, along with snipers and flying droids.

If you find yourself in a pinch, use the grappling line above you to move from one side of the battlefield to the other. You can also use the center platform to take out enemies while hiding behind the shields that are placed around it. This is also theonly way you can get some healthif you are running low. Just keep firing, and stay mobile, and you’ll finish this boss in no time.
