Want to get revenge and learn how to kill Factory Striders? We’ve got you. Equipped with heavy armor, hard-hitting weapons, and the ability to drop reinforcements mid-fight, they’re enemies you don’t want to take lightly.

Taking them down requires the right equipment in your loadout as well as the supportive hands of your squad. In this guide, we’ll teach you how to defeat Factory Striders inHelldivers 2using various weapons and tactics.
How to Kill Factory Striders: Understand Their Weaknesses
Learning how to beat Factory Riders isn’t too difficult. The key to success lies in their weak points and using the right weapons to do it.
You’ve heard the phrase “knowledge is power” countlessly I’m sure, but knowing exactly where to target these enemies for maximum damage can make or break your attempts at taking one of these behemoths down.

One of the best ways to disable a Factory Strider is by focusing on its head and side armor. Particularly, the Strider’s chin-mounted miniguns and the top turret are a serious threat. However, neither of these is particularly heavily armored.

you may destroy these with either medium armor-piercing or anti-tank weapons. Leaving these parts of it unchecked will certainly bring down at least one member of your squad.
Aiming for the Strider’s legs can reduce its mobility and leave it more exposed to fire from different angles. Slowing it down makes it harder for the Strider to respond to attacks, especially when you’re coordinating with a team.

Sometimes the Strider will open a vent on its underside to deploy Standard Devastators. While this is happening, it becomes even more vulnerable, so take the opportunity to blast it with everything you’ve got.
More Tips and Tricks for Taking Down Factory Striders
These additional tips and tricks will make your encounters with Factory Striders much easier.
You’ll want to target the easier weak points first to get rid of as much of its arsenal as you can. Taking out the back cannons or chin-mounted miniguns will reduce the amount of damage the Strider can deal, giving your team more breathing room.

Once the weapons are out of commission, you can focus on its weak spots without as much pressure.
While this might sound a bit odd, staying right under the Strider after you take out its turrets is safer than trying to take it down from a distance. At that point, it won’t have anything to attack you with, and it doesn’t have close-range stomp-like attacks like other Automatons do.

Alternatively, you can use powerful Stratagems like the Orbital Laser which is usually enough to destroy the Strider outright. If you’re lacking these, you can still rely on your trust Eagle Airstrikes or Orbital Precision Strikes to do the job. These work well, especially if you target the Strider’s head.
Factory Striders are tough, especially when they’re near other powerful Automaton enemies. However, byknowing their weak points and using the right strategies, you can bring them all of them down with a well-coordinated attack. Check out some of our otherHelldivers 2guides for more assistance too.
