Helldivers 2has seen a lot of issues recently, and despite Arrowhead Game Studios trying to fix things and make everything better, nothing has come back to how it used to be. From weapons to armor issues, there are a lot of things that have put players off the game.

While these problems continue to plague the community, some fans have ideas to makeHelldivers 2better. One fan has shared an idea about the Stims in the game that would change things for the bugs in the game, but it might require a massive rework forHelldivers 2.
One Fan Has a Suggestion About Stims and How They Should Work in Helldivers 2
Stims inHelldivers 2is an injection for healing. Players can carry up to four stims at a time when their health is low. They can stim that heal any injuries and recover the health instantly. However, they are in a limited quantity, and once used, players need to call for a resupply stratagem for more Stims.
In a now-deleted post on theHelldiverssubreddit, one player stated that Stims should not make players“borderline immortal.”They stated that players are able to stunt even if they are in the middle of the fight,“getting blasted or eaten alive.”The player said it grants players near immortality again, and that is not good for the game.

They added that in this state, the enemies would have to force players into an obnoxious stun lock for a chance to kill them. They added that the game lore also says that Helldivers cannot be that overpowered but are supposed to be squishy, and this was not like that in the first game as well.
Continuing, they said that players are overpowered and it is helping them win fights, which is not fair. They suggested that the regeneration should take longer for players to reach full health after stimming, and it would cancel if they took damage. They also said the medic perk may retain a weaker version of the stim.

It’s Not a Bad Suggestion but the Community Doesn’t Want This
Players have said that Arrowhead would need to rebalance the entire game for this change, and it could frustrate the entire community. The developers would surely not want it after the recent problems where players seeno other option than quittingHelldivers 2.

Several players did not agree to the user and this probably prompted them to delete the post. One player said that the game is a fast-paced shooter, and the stims should reflect that.

Another player disagreed and explained that the Stims only help with minor chip damage, and players can still die of a headshot or headshots“if you’re dealing with a heavy devastator.”
Whilst this may seem like a bizarre and frankly unneeded decision, the idea itself could be implemented into a new difficulty, similar to how other game’s medical and healing items are less helpful on the higher difficulties.

Of course, this would require a near full rework/rebalance to be implemented correctly, so it would cost a considerable amount of money, so considering the troubles Arrowhead have right now, it may not be the best use of their time. That said, for those confident with Helldiver difficulty, the extra challenge provided would certainly be an attractive prospect.
This has been the response of the players, and they are not in favor of giving more advantage to the bugs.
