Mark Wahlberg, formerly known as Marky Mark starred in the 1997 film titledBoogie Nightswhich was a great film. Being the breakout film for Wahlberg, the actor has fond memories of the movie but not so much for his co-star Burt Reynolds.

When he was at the height of stardom, Reynolds starred in the film alongside Mark Wahlberg but he didn’t quite enjoy it. In an interview, theTedactor talked about how the 1997 film was Reynolds’ worst nightmare because of reasons that were purely selfish!

The film, directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, narrates the story of a high school dropout who goes on to become a highly successful p*rn star. His career takes a hit, however, when he gets addicted to drugs. Being a comedy/drama film,Boogie Nightsreceived great reviews and high ratings.

In a recent interview with Josh Horowitz on theHappy Sad ConfusedPodcast,The Family Planactor talked about his breakthrough film. During the course of the story, Wahlberg remembered Burt Reynolds and how it wasn’t a good film for the veteran actor since Reynolds felt that“the role was beneath him“!

In a recent interview, Wahlberg revealed toYahoo Entertainmentthat although he likes to play age-appropriate roles, he wouldn’t mind taking up some NSFW roles if the right script comes along his way!

“Listen, if the right script comes, I don’t rule anything out. But I do enjoy doing things that the whole entire family can see. Look, I’m 52 years old now. I’m a dad of four. I’ve got a kid in college. I like playing age-appropriate roles.”
