Other than a small tutorial at the start of the game, you’ll not be told anything about Elements, how they affect combat, and how best to make use of them. Here is everything you need to know about this mechanic.

All Elements
There are six elements in the game:
Each character in the game has aprimary elementthat they use to deal damage (shown next to their name in character selection). This means their basic attacks and most of their skills deal damage in that element. Some skills are called Plain skills; these are typically buffs or debuffs and don’t have a specific element.
How To Tell Elemental Weaknesses
Each enemy in the game has an elemental weakness, and when they’re attacked by a user of that element, they take bonus,super-effective damage. This is represented by golden damage numbers instead of regular, bright blue damage numbers.
There are two ways to check which element an enemy is weak to.
All attacks against an enemy will be either effective or super-effective; there are no weak attacks.
War Elemental Sigilconverts all attacks into super-effective damage. This means that if someone has thissigilequipped, they will always deal golden damage. You can only obtain the War Elemental Sigil throughCurios.
