Gotham Knightsmight have received a secret upgrade on co-op mode, which increases the party members from 2 to 4!

WhenGotham Knightswas revealed with four playable characters at launch, it was assumed that the gameplay will center around a 4-player co-op mode, but in further showcases, WB Montreal confirmed thatGotham Knightswill only support a 2-player co-op mode.

Gotham Knights

Regarding the fact that the game has always been premiered with 4 playable superheroes, it didn’t sound like a good idea from the developers, though we can’t be sure about that before playing the game!

However, it seems like WB Montreal has already upgraded the co-op mode secretly to support 4 players simultaneously as the PlayStation Store listing reveals.

Gotham Knights Has Been Listed on PlayStation Store Featuring 4-Player Co-op Mode

Recently, aReddit userspotted something new on the PlayStation Store page ofGotham Knightswe might have easily missed. According to the game’sPS Store page, it supports up to 4 online players with PS Plus, which is hinting at the game’s co-op mode with 4 players.

This is in contrast with what the developers had already promised, which was a 2-player co-op mode. So, this is either a mistake by Sony in listing the game or a secret upgrade to the game’s co-op mode by WB Montreal that is probably supposed to be revealed in later showcases.

For now, you should take it with a grain of salt, but if the game doesn’t get delayed by WB Interactive, we should probably see Knightsthis summer, before its launch in Fall 2022.

Gotham Knightsis supposed to be available on August 11, 2025, on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC.
