The highly anticipatedGod of War Ragnarokis only a couple of weeks away, yet, it was unfortunately unable to avoid getting something leaked before its release date, as isso commonplace these days. An uncredited Twitter user uploaded a gallery of screenshots for the upcoming game which reveal some noteworthy details about its plot and gameplay. None of these details will be relayed here for spoilers' sake, but if you’re indifferent for whatever reason, you’re able to see themhere.Though the origin of said leak is unknown, the most likely scenario is that the leaker is one of the many reporters and insiders that received an early code to check the game out. As previously reported, God of War Ragnarok hasalready gone gold, and it’s seemingly ready for release. Reviewersareallowed to show a certain amount of footage before a title launches, but they are meant to do it after a specific time and date established by the game’s publisher, known as the embargo.RELATED:God Of War Ragnarok Lead Writer Said Norse Saga Could Have Been A TrilogyGod of War Ragnarok is still currently under embargo, and it doesn’t lift until November 3, six days before the game officially releases. Therefore, the user who posted these screenshots broke the embargo, so, ifPlayStationis able to determine who it was, they’re unlikely to get a code ever again. Cory Balrog, creative director at the game’s development studio, Sony Santa Monica, posted an image on Twitter seemingly reacting to this current leak.

The screenshots weren’t everything, however. A few days ago, a50-second video clipshowing footage from a God of War Ragnarok boss fight made the rounds online. The boss fight in itself isn’t a spoiler, as it was previously confirmed in Ragnarok’smost recent story trailerthat Kratos would duke it out versus Thor. However, it’s different to know it will happen than to see it play out for fifty seconds, so be wary as you peruse social media.

It was recentlyreportedthat that game’s file size would nearly double that of its 2018 predecessor coming it at almost 84GB on PlayStation 5 and at a whopping 106GB onPlayStation 5. This lends credence to recent speculation that the game will be much bigger and longer than God of War (2018), however,Insider Gamingrecently claimed the game was about 40 hours in length total, only a modest increase from the original’s 32-hour average playtime.
