Santa Monica Studio continues to port the critically acclaimed and hugely popularGod of Warseries to PC. The developer released thePC system requirements for the latestGod Of War: RagnarökPC port, which includes an advisory for 190GB of storage.
God Of War: Ragnarökwasoriginally released for the PlayStation 4and 5 consoles in November 2022. PC players have been hoping for a PC port from console of theGod of Warseries for a while. However the system requirements have shocked many.

God of War: Ragnarök Demands A Lot Of Storage Space
The original release of theGod Of War: Ragnarökon PS4 required 84GB, while the PS5 required 106.9GB of storage.
The PC port, which will come on Steam and the Epic Games Store, ofGod Of War: Ragnarökis expected on September 19 and requires a staggering 190GB of storage space.Further, the recommendation requires an SSD as well, rather than an HDD, to get the best performance.

The rest of the PC requirements, outside the storage, look reasonable. Especially afterSteam’s July 2024 Hardware Surveyshows the majority of PC players would meet or exceed the recommended settings.
Every God Of War Game, Ranked
God of War is easily one of gaming’s most iconic IPs, but which God of War game is the best?
To reach the recommended settings, which offer players 60 frames-per-second (FPS) at a 1080P resolution, the game requires an Nvidia RTX 2060 Super or AMD RX 5700 for GPU, an Intel i5-8600 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPU, and 16GB of system RAM.

Those recommended settings, along with the long wait forGod Of War: Ragnarökto make its way to PC, mean the release on PC should be a success for Santa Monica Studios.
