Asannounced, on aBilibili livestream(and four hours later on anEnglish YouTube stream), miHoYo revealed a new trailer and several details forAll That Glitters, the Version 1.3 update of free-to-play JRPGGenshin Impact(PC,PS4,PS5, Mobile,Switchsoon).Genshin ImpactVersion 1.3 will launch on February 3. All the details on Xiao, the new events, and enemies are included below.
Genshin ImpactVersion 1.3 All That Glitters Trailer (Japanese, English)
Xiao Becomes Playable - New Featured Gacha Banners With Xiao and Keqing
Xiao will be obtainable in Version 1.3. Xiao is an Anemo and Polearm user, voiced by Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (Kirito inSword Art Online). In English, Xiao is voiced byLaila Berzins, who funnily also voiced aSAOcharacter, Fanatio in the Alicization arc. Xiao can most notably use his plunging attack without taking fall damage. The higher he attacks from, the bigger the Plunging Attack DMG. When triggering his Elemental Burst, Xiao constantly looses HP but all his attacks turn into Anemo damage and are greatly amplified.
The new Xiao gacha banner will start on February 3, and a Keqing gacha banner will start on February 17. Note that Keqing is already obtainable in the permanent Standard banner. This is the first time we’ll get a featured limited banner for an already obtainable Five star character.
Lantern Rite And Smaller Events Coming in Version 1.3
A list of all the smaller events which will happen through Version 1.3 ofGenshin Impact,All That Glitters, was published. During the Lantern Rite period, players will be able to get 10 Interwined Fates via daily login. Overall, completing the events will grant you over 1600 Primogems, materials including a Crown of Insight, and the four star Liyue character of your choice.Players will first need to complete the Xiao Character Quest before being able to participate in the Lantern Rite events.
The Lantern Rite will be divided into three stages. With more quests and rewards unlocking each time you progress through the next stage. The Xiao Market will have new goods at each stage too.The Xiao Market uses special event currency, Peace Talismans, obtainable in Theater Mechanicus.
Theater Mechanicus
One of the new events available with the Lantern Rite is Theater Mechanicus, a tower-defense like minigame. you’re able to also play it in online co-op multiplayer. Theater Mechanicus gameplay was showcased at the 22:22 mark of the English stream:
Photo Event - Five Flushes of Fortune
One of the Lantern Rite’s smaller events is the Five Flushes of Fortune event. First, players will obtain the Kurious Kamera from NPC Ji Tong in the Lantern Rite area. Next, we’ll be asked to take photos of objects of a specific color each day, like a certain plant. We’ll have ten chances a day to take photos. The first rewards of this event are random photos, each with a color. If you complete a set with five different colors, you’re able to exchange them for rewards, including Primogems. You’ll be able to exchange photos with friends if you lack a certain color to complete your set.
New Event - Ley Line Overflow - Double Rewards From Ley Line Blossoms
During a certain period, three times a day, we’ll get double rewards from Blossom of Wealth (Mora) and Blossom of Revelation (EXP tickets).Note that the screenshot is a placeholder, the event is unlikely to actually last thirty days.

Geovishap Intro Trailer - New Enemy in Version 1.3 With Its Own Expedition Event And Boss Version
The Geovishaps and Where to Find Them event will be held as well. It focuses on the Expedition mechanic. There will be eight different Geovishap expeditions each day. You can only complete four per day. They have various difficulties and rewards. You’ll be able to send four characters and a character recruited from a friend, to increase the chance of receiving bonus rewards. As you progress you’ll unlock the On the Hunt part, where you will directly fight the Geovishaps, including the boss version Primo Geovishap. A sneak peek of gameplay was shared:
Controller Support on iOS
As previously announced, Version 1.3 will add controller support for the iOS version ofGenshin Impact. For now, the compatible controllers are- Xbox wireless controller (Bluetooth version).Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2.PlayStation wireless controller (DUALSHOCK 4).MFi (Made for iOS) Bluetooth controller (partially supported).

You can now brag to your friends by adding to your profile your playable characters, Spiral Abyss progress, and Achievements obtained. Eight characters can be displayed on the profile. Players can check the displayed character’s builds too. Their weapons, Artifacts, Constellation level, and Talent levels.
New System - Materials Random Exchange With The New Parametric Transformer Gadget
With a new Gadget, the Parametric Transformer, you can exchange surplus materials for random other materials. You’ll need to set the Parametric Transformer and use Elemental Attacks to fill it with energy. This Gadget can be obtained starting Adventure Rank 31, by completing a quest from Lan (guild master in Liyue Harbor).The Parametric Transformer can only be used once every seven days. There’s an item limit of 150 quality each use.(For example, you can put in 150 pieces of one star quality items, or 75 pieces of two star quality items.)
New System - Character Ascension Materials Element Change
You can now change the element of Character Ascension Materials through crafting. With a new material called Dust of Azoth, obtainable in the Stardust shop.
New Character Soundtrack CD Release Teaser - The Stellar Moment
This is the BGM that was used inGanyu’s Character Demo trailer. The full version will be published soon in an OST CD. The album will have 17 tracks in total by Yu-Peng Chen.
