miHoYo officially revealed on April 3 the release date forGenshin Impact Ver 1.5, through the release schedule of the upcoming Childe Banner rerun - which of the leaks so far will turn out true, and will we get Eula, Yan Fei, and the Housing System inGenshin Impact 1.5? All explanations below.

When’s the release date ofGenshin Impact 1.5?

Right now, the Venti banner rerun inGenshin Impact, ending on April 6, was three weeks long. Moreover, the Childe banner, just detailed by the JapaneseGenshinTwitter, will be three weeks as well, ending on April 27.

In other words, we’ll get maintenance on April 27, and a brand new banner will launch together with a new version ofGenshin Impact, Ver 1.5, on April 27.

Are theprevious leaks real?

As you already know, several leaks data mined from theGenshin Impact 1.5Beta have been revealed these past weeks. Most notably there are two new characters, Cryo Claymore 5waifu Eula, and Pyro Catalyst 4waifu Yan Fei. TheHomeworld systemwas also leaked, and we heard about aZhongli banner rerun, part 2 for his Story quest, and a new weekly boss called Azhdaha.

First off, it’s important to understand these leaks are real, as they’re all data mined from theGenshin Impact1.5 Beta. Which stayed accessible to data miners even after the 1.5 Private Beta Test was shut down.

However, the problem is,there is no guarantee miHoYo will implement the content from the 1.5 Beta into the official 1.5 ofGenshin Impact. This is the reason why you shouldn’t raise your expectations through leaks.

Eula, Yan Fei, Housing, Azhdaha boss - What will be coming withGenshin Impact 1.5?

For now, we don’t know. If for one reason or another, Eula, Yanfei, the Housing System, or other leaked features still need work, they won’t be released with the official launch ofGenshin Impact1.5. Simple as that.

However, it’s very likely that at least, Eula and Yan Fei will be released. Seeing Ver 1.4 only added Rosaria as a new playable character. Rosaria isn’t even brand new too as she already appeared in 1.2, but wasn’t added to a banner until now.

Adding Azhdaha in 1.5 would make sense too, as the boss has been hinted in the game these past months. Most notably with the Geovishaps and Where to Find Them event.

Lastly, the Housing System has already beenteasedin the past by miHoYo, alongside costumes, or skins as cool kids call them, and farming.

When is the 1.5 Sneak Peek Livestream?

We will only be certain whether all this content is coming or not once we’ve seen the livestream for 1.5. miHoYo should announce in the next few days the date of theGenshin Impact1.5 livestream. Seeing the pattern of prevous streams, it’s likely to be set between April 15 and 20. We’ll be sure to tell you about it as soon as possible, so stay tuned on DualShockers.
