The story is going through the most interesting phase. After the deaths of several characters, including Satoru Gojo and Kenjaku, Ryomen Sukuna has become the most potent being in the Jujutsu world. Yuji Itadori is currently fighting with the King of Curses to end the nemesis once and for all.
Ryomen Sukuna took back his consciousness after taking over Megumi Fushiguro’s body. To kill Megumi’s soul, he is purposely hurting and killing his close ones to send him into a state of despair and never return. Amidst such an interesting phase, Gege Akutami has confirmed that Satoru Gojo will not return by the end ofJujutsu Kaisen.

After waiting for months, Gege Akutami waters down on every one’s hopes, confirming that the strongest Jujutsu sorcerer won’t be returning anymore. A post on X (formerly Twitter) became viral, confirming that Gojo has died. The post was about Megumi Fushiguro losing his entire family in the Shibuya Incident saga. His parents, sister, sensei, and even his classmate is dead.
So, it can be understood that Gege Akutami has confirmed that Megumi’s close ones are ‘Dead,’ including Satoru Gojo. Even though they mentioned it subtly, it did not go unseen by the fans. It hurts when someone hopes for something for a long time, but it does not happen.
