Genshin Impactis an anime-styled action role-playing game set inside avast open world, offering varied and satisfying gameplay elements to experience. It includes a fluent combo system and a very compelling gacha option that lets players change between characters that fit their playstyle. While this unique combination of traits may make it the perfect title for some, finding a similar title is difficult.

Co-op options, class choices, and character customization should be considered too, making the search even more daunting. There are many elements Genshin Impact fans adore, and all of these titles hit the bullseye in at least certain ways.

10Immortals Fenyx Rising

Immortals Fenyx Risingoffers a familiar open-world experience that should make any Genshin Impact player feel at home. The exploration and world-traversal options are similar. There are also puzzles to uncover and solve, including a lot of resource collection that players won’t feel alienated by.

In the title, the demigod Fenyx has to assist Greek Gods like Aphrodite and Ares in defeating a dangerous Titan threatening the Gods. If Genshin Impact players are searching for a solid open-world experience and a phenomenal environment based on Greek mythology, this would be a great alternative to play. It doesn’t quite include all the same features that make Genshin Impact so enjoyable, though. There is no online multiplayer for cooperative play, and the art style isn’t quite a fit.

9Tales Of Arise

The combat and movement here are paired with stunning visuals and flashy combos, comparable to Genshin Impact.Tales Of Arisetakes an arena-based approach to battle, locking the player in a dome-like area to fight enemies. Though this may be one of the most significant differences in combat, the game uses a character assist system to lengthen combos in a similar fashion.

Tales Of Arise also has a wealth of animated cutscenes, all displaying varied character interactions anddeep and affecting storytelling. These great qualities are found in both titles, helping to change the pace for any newcomers. Unfortunately, Tales of Arise does lack cooperative elements and an open world to explore.

8Blade & Soul

Being the first MMORPG mentioned,Blade & Soulis a title that bases all of its combat on martial arts. Gacha elements are also included: players can spin wheels for a chance to drop rare outfits instead of characters. There are options to play through the story, defeat raid bosses, and traverse with others, similarly to the cooperative elements found in Genshin Impact.

Blade & Soul has remarkable character customization and outstanding visuals throughout, allowing players to look and express themselves any way they choose. Weapon upgrades also follow a similar path to Genshin’s own mechanic, where players need to use reinforcing materials to get better weapon stats. Blade & Soul does have a rather repetitive quest system and very long story, but it could be intriguing for new players.

7SoulWorker Anime Legends

SoulWorker Anime Legends has a player base that overlaps with Genshin Impact. Genshin fans find this alternative acceptable because of its battle animations and character types, allowing players to find a suitable playstyle in a personable MMO. Players can purchase outfits to display their personalities and style, which is apparent in the community towards the end of the game.

The multiplayer options see players take on dungeons together or hang around popular hubs before raids. Tower options for relentless players are also available inside SoulWorker, not to mention multiple social spaces for fans interested in role-playing. The original game lost popularity partly due to the mobile version’s success, making the title accessible to cellular players like Genshin Impact. The title’s small corridor dungeon style and lack of map space does hold it back somewhat, sadly.

6The Legend Of Neverland

The Legend Of Neverland’s most evident similarity would be its visual style. The franchise has a stunning aesthetic and tries to lead with its best features, tempting Genshin Impact players with a familiar experience. The anime art style is refined and includes voice acting for some of its scenes, a rare addition to mobile games.

There’s also the option to receive Flower Fairies through a gacha system. Fairies have different skill sets to decide from, so it’s imperative to choose and strengthen them wisely. Fairies are like most pet systems in similar games (a concept still absent from Genshin). This is also how players increase CP, much likeNi No Kuni: Cross Worlds' own system. The title only suffers as a result of its simple quest system and very grind-heavy progression.

5Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds

One of the most visually similar titles, Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds uses the visual style of Genshin Impact blended withStudio Ghibliart. The gacha mechanic includes familiar and equipment summoning. This assists players and boosts Combat Power, your overall strength in the game. The action elements are comparable to Genshin’s, and there’s a compelling story about a digital world to dive into.

There are five classes to select from and multiple character customization choices. The world and resource gathering mechanics will be very familiar to players arriving from Genshin Impact, allowing them to explore an open world and fight enemies willingly. Coming across a mobile title of this quality is quite a gem, but it doesn’t quite match up with some further titles.

The battling mechanics in KurtzPel feel significantly improved compared to Genshin’s, offering a more varied and fluid experience. The game specializes in the PvP play that is still missing from Genshin Impact. The difficulty also offers an enjoyable curve for players wanting to be challenged during boss fights, with swift movement techniques to help in the heat of battle.

Fashioned with in-depth character customization choices and an anime art style, the title sticks out. There’s also co-op in both PvE and PvP modes, which should satisfy all newcomers. There aren’t many titles that are better alternatives for fans of miHoYo’s classic.

3The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild

This title mastered the formula and set the standards for an open-world RPG experience. Genshin Impact was heavily inspired byThe Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, by using similar art styles and concepts that influenced its uniqueness. The iconic Nintendo title capitalizes on a player’s curiosity and sense of exploration, another idea Genshin uses well.

The combat is bold and dynamic, much like Genshin Impact’s. The use of different weapon archetypes as well as elemental effects are also similar. Few Nintendo Switch players have missed out on Breath of the Wild, but fans of the anime action RPG who haven’t taken the plunge yet absolutely should.

2Honkai Impact 3rd

The predecessor of Genshin Impact,Honkai Impact 3rdis an ideal option for fans of the former. Some of the personalities released in Honkai also appear along withsome of the best characters in Genshin. The primary difference between the two is that the narrative takes place at another time, though the titles share identical universes.

The title should make any player feel comfortable jumping in, since it’s closely related. Honkai ranks second because it takes a different approach to the story than Genshin Impact, but stays true to the same formula. Most Honkai players moved on to Genshin at the release, but there are lots of new players who haven’t given this title a chance.

1Tower Of Fantasy

Tower Of Fantasywas released five years after Genshin Impact and aimed to simulate the same product. The title has an almost identical gameplay style and very similar character archetypes. There are also interchangeable outfits for characters, purchasable through the in-game store (as well as those that can be unlocked through achievements).

As reminiscent of Genshin Impact as the game is, it possesses enough differences to stand out as its own. This would be the best title for Genshin Impact players looking for a familiar experience, but one just different enough to feel new. Tower of Fantasy ranks first because it’s essentially the complete Genshin Impact experience with twists and differences, including everything that players love and enjoy.
