Jeremy Allen White’sThe Bearis currently filming its third season in Chicago. After its success at the Golden Globes and Emmys this year, the show was renewed for a fourth season as well, the filming for which will be held back-to-back with the third season. However, FX faces a new headache regarding the series after a clip from the upcoming season got leaked to media outlets from a Disney shareholders meeting.

FX responded with a stern warning about legal consequences if the clip wasn’t removed immediately from all the media websites. According to reports, the third season ofThe Bearwill premiere on Hulu sometime in June 2024.

A few media houses will land in trouble for sharing a clip fromThe Bearthat was posted to X. The said clip was allegedly leaked from a Disney shareholders’ meeting presentation.The filming of the third seasonof the Emmy-winning series began in February and no official photos or videos have been made available to the audience.

FX revealed that the leaked clip was illicitly captured from the presentation and therefore not authorized for use beyond that meeting. In a statement, FX asked media outlets to refrain from posting or sharing the clip in any manner.
The outlets have also been requested to remove the clip if it was already posted on their sites / social media. The statement from FX read (via The Hollywood Reporter):

“Today during The Walt Disney Company’s Annual Shareholder Meeting, a clip from the upcoming third season of FX’s The Bear was shown as part of the presentation. The clip was subsequently captured and shared publicly without permission. This clip is not authorized for use beyond the shareholder meeting and we request that you and/or your outlet do not post or share it in any manner. If it has already been posted, we request that it be removed immediately.”
Earlier, Season 2 of the show concluded with the opening of a new restaurant, Bear. In the 53-second leaked clip from the third season, series starJeremy Allen Whiteis seen under pressure, working during an opening night in his revamped restaurant. White plays award-winning chef Carmy Berzatto in the series.

The clip also features Matty Matheson, who plays Neil Fak, and Ricky Staffieri, who plays Neil’s brother Ted. They discuss pleasing the food critics with Carmy in this scene, with the Fak brothers placing the photos of these critics on the wall of the kitchen.

Earlier, FX Networks chairman John Landgraf shared during the Television Critics Association’s Winter 2024 press tour thatThe Bearwill return for its third season in June 2024 (via Variety). He also shared that he had“no doubt”that Hulu will be releasing all episodes on one day rather than week-to-week.

Jeremy Allen White has high hopes for the series and revealed thatthe series will go back to its Season 1 roots. Speaking to Variety, he shared that there will be more cooking this season and that he was preparing a new menu for the restaurant with the help of different chefs. White promises that the functioning kitchen atmosphere will return in the third season. White shared withVariety:
“There’ll be a menu set, I believe, that’s going to be for the restaurant in the third season. And I know that I’m going to start putting together that menu with different chefs. […] Now, in the third season, I think we’re going to go back to that functioning kitchen atmosphere that we had in the first.”

The Bear Seasons 1 & 2are now available for streaming on Hulu.
