Season 6 ofFortniteChapter 2 has been a wild ride, but it’s slowly coming to an end and Season 7 is now on the horizon. There are plenty of rumours, leaks, and speculative pieces floating around the web regarding Season 7 ofFortniteChapter 2. So, here areDualShockers’official predictions.

There’s always plenty going on withFortnite, especially right before the beginning of a new season. Check out the link below to get your first look at the new Crew Pack for the month of June.

Release Date - Prediction

As of writing,FortniteChapter 2 Season 6 is set to come to an end on August 23, 2025. That’s according to theofficialFortnitewebsiteand in-game Battle Pass anyway.

So, unless Epic Games are required to delay the new season ofFortnitefor technical reasons, players can expect Chapter 2 Season 7 to kick off on eitherJune 7 or 8.

It’s important to remember that no official release date has currently been given by Epic Games regarding the latest season ofFortnite. However, new seasons usually kick off once the current season’s Battle Pass expires.

Battle Pass - Prediction

What can we expect from the Chapter 2: Season 7 Battle Pass? Well, it all depends on the theme of the season. If there are any collaborations planned, much like the Marvel xFortnitecollab in Chapter 2: Season 4, you can expect the Battle Pass to be themed around the collab.

There are plenty of possibilities forFortniteSeason 7’s Battle Pass, especially considering it’s practically all but confirmed that the latest ofFortnitewill have some relation tospace and aliens. If leaks are to be believed, expect plenty of new skins and cosmetics in the Battle Pass to be centred around this theme.

Although there’s no way to be sure what will be in the Battle Pass before release, we do know there will be plenty of V-Bucks, Cosmetics, Emotes, and more available in the new Battle Pass.

Early Predictions For Chapter 2: Season 7

There are plenty of different directions that Epic Games could take Season 7 inFortniteChapter 2. We’ve put together some of our own predictions for what we want to see, and what we expect to see going off of recent leaks.

The End Of Agent Jones

We were surprised that Chapter 2: Season 6 wasn’t the end for Agent Jones, so we’re making a strong prediction that we could see our beloved rouge agent meet his demise at the beginning of Chapter 2: Season 7. We’re not quite sure how, but with The Foundation clearly not being too friendly with him, and Agent Jones already turning his back on his boss, Doctor Slone, could things take a turn for the worse?

New Mechanics

Epic Games often enjoys mixing up the way we play, after recently introducing a Crafting system in Chapter 2: Season 6. This wasn’t the only recent change made to the Battle Royale gameplay, Season 5 saw the introduction of interactable NPC’s and more.

So, it’s clear that Epic are regularly looking to include new gameplay mechanics, but what could come next? We expect some sort of gunsmith to soon be introduced toFortnite, possibly in Season 7. We’d love to be able to use different attachments or scopes on different weapons and personalise the game to how we want to play. But could this be too much of a change?

There are also plenty of leaks circulating surrounding the possible inclusion of UFOs. According toTweaBR, players will begin to glow when a UFO is nearby, and if a player is abducted they will then be spat out somewhere else on the BR map.

This could be an interesting mechanic forFortniteChapter Season 7, and would definitely change up the way games are played.

NewCollaborations

After the huge success of the Marvel collaboration in Chapter 2: Season 4, Epic Games are definitely planning further collaborations that will likely arrive in Season 7.

A large amount ofFortnitecollaborations were revealed in the recent Epic Games v. Apple trial, one of which included aNaruto crossover.

That wasn’t all though, fans are still eagerly awaiting the arrival of Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson inFortniteafter a document in the trial revealed the potential superstar receiving his own skin.

So, with Epic Games clearly planning more and more collaborations with various stars and brands, expect plenty more in Season 7.

Flashback To The Original Battle Royale Map

We know this is something that everyone wants to see, and the idea has definitely been beaten to death by now, but we’re still hopeful that one day we may be able to return to the originalFortnitemap from Chapter 1. This doesn’t necessarily mean the storyline needs to change to suit the return of the OG map, it could appear as a Limited-Time Mode called ‘Flashback’.

However, it is possible that this change could fit into the storyline, with all of the portals and alternate realities bouncing around in the Season 6, could we see a return to the original Battle Royale map?
