In celebration ofFinal Fantasy VII Remake, Square Enix has released the entire Distant Worlds and A New World music compilationon Bandcamp. This digital medley contains every musical moment, battle medley, and character theme fromFinal Fantasy VIIever released by Distant Worlds and A New World.

Considering how excellent the arranged pieces are, this collection would be a great addition to any fan’s collection. You can purchase the full album of ten tracks in total for $8.50here.

April 2020’s NPD datashows thatFinal Fantasy VII Remakebeat outÂCall of Duty: Modern WarfareandAnimal Crossing: New Horizons, and is now the most successful entry in the long-running franchise in terms of units sold and dollar sales in a launch month.

The director ofRemakeTetsuya Nomura was the one to propose the originalFinal Fantasy VII’smost shocking moment. As previously revealed,Final Fantasy VII Remake hasÂmany new elements to it and Scenarist Kazushige Nojima even explains how heÂrewrote Cloud for the remake. We alsoÂtranslated comments from Nojima about howÂFinal Fantasy VII influencedÂFinal Fantasy VIII. In an interview posted throughÂSquare Enix, Co-Director Naoki Hamaguchi and Producer Yoshinori Kitase talk about their reasoning behind making some bold changes for the remake of such a beloved game – namely whySephiroth was introduced so early in the game.

We also translatedÂthe short film made to promote the remake. Square Enix, meanwhile, is currently working on theÂsecond and possibly last episode. Square EnixÂreleased a trailer revealing the theme song of the game calledÂHollow, along with with many iconic moments and returning faces from the original PS1 classic. Square also announcedÂthe Orchestra World Tour, which will bring orchestral performances of the upcoming game’s soundtrack to cities in the US, Singapore, Thailand, the UK, and Japan. The tour will start at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, CA on June 14th, with the tour scheduled to run through February 2021 in Tokyo, Japan.
