Who Is Glenn Lodbrock
Glenn Lodbrock was one of thefirst P0 Type Soldiers, Shinra’s first attempt at the program.These Soldiers aren’t the same as the SOLDIERS we know today, like Cloud,Zack,and Sephiroth. Glenndoesn’t have any genetic modifications or enhancementsand instead isjust a very well-trained fighterwho led to early P0 Type Soldiers as Shinra’s special forces.
Glenn operated many years before the events of Final Fantasy 7 Remake, and in the original game’s timeline, came into contact withSephiroth when he was just a teenager and was being battle-tested by Shinraas the first real SOLDIER. Despite being a teenager,Sephiroth was put in charge of Glenn’s team for an important mission.Upon meeting Sephiroth and seeing the things Shinra did to a person,Glenn originally despised Sephirothand his “inhuman” ways.
In the original series,Glenn isn’t mentioned beyond the spin-off game “The First Soldier,“as he and his team are phased out by the introduction of SOLDIERS that started with Sephiroth.

While Glenn originally had no enhancements, hereveals in one of the game’s final cutscenes a connection to Sephiroth,someone he once hated.
