Players were able to get a small taste of this game in the form of a Demo that let them play as Cloud, one ofthe franchise’s best protagonists, but also as Sephiroth, one of thefranchise’s best villains. For players who already played the demo recently, they might not want to play through that same content again so soon. Fortunately,there’s a way around that!

How To Skip The Demo Content
In order toskip a portion that you already played in the demo, you will need to meet some criteria. The first is that you musthave a save filefrom “Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Demo,” and the second is that the save file in question hascompleted the Nibelheim portion. Once you load up the game, you will reach the main menu, which features varioustext options on the left-hand side, as well as seeing Cloud’s signature Buster Sword sticking out of the ground on the right-hand side.
Navigate downwards until you are on theoption for Bonuses. Select this option, and then select “Check Saved Data.” You will be rewarded for having this save file by receivinga Kupo Charm, a Survival Set, and so long as you have completed Nibelheim, you will also be able to skip a portion of the game that you already played — although, you will not skip past all of what you played in the demo.
Afterward, you will want toselect New Game. This will start the full game experience, and once you complete the first encounterwhich appears in the demo, a prompt will appear that willlet you skip to the village.
