After obtaining the Chocobo Belle in this region, players will proceed through the quest to attempt to fix Gabe’s cart. One of the last parts of the quest will have players needing to find Driftwood throughout the region; here’s where to find it all.

Stuck In A Rut Diftwood Locations
Players can open up their inventory and go to theKey Items menu to find Wainwright’s Note,which is a drawn map of where to find the Driftwood, but as it’s not drawn to scale, it can be very slightly confusing. Driftwood is found by riding on your Chocobo andusing their scent to locate the Driftwoodburied in the ground; the same process to find other crafting items to use in theItem Transmuter.
Pressing up on the D-Pad will have the Chocobo sniff for an item, and ared question mark over their head will indicate they are on the scent of Driftwood.When you see this icon, continue tohold up on the D-Pad and follow the arrow around the question mark with the left joystickto look and find the direction of the Driftwood. Once it has been identified, approach the sparkling location in the dirt andpress down on the D-Pad to “Scour” and dig up the item.

Driftwood Locations
The first piece of Driftwood to be found is about alittle ways north along the road from where the Chocobo of this region was wrangled.It will be along the right side of the road when coming from the Wrangling location and on a small rocky hill right before another path converges with the one you’re on.
The second piece of Driftwood is locatednorth, closer to the entrance to Under Junon.Go to theabandoned factory-like buildingand walk to the side where it meets rock, with theDriftwood being in the corner where the two converge.
The final piece of Driftwood is morenorth in the platformed section of the region.Approach thefenced-in area,and your Chocobo will locate the object not far from where the blue tarp is seen within the fence. Turning in Driftwood will complete the quest and let playerstravel back to the Grasslands.
