Young French World Cup winnerKylian Mbappehas been named as the cover star for all three editions ofFIFA 21.The 21-year-old megastar is now widely considered as one of the best football players in the world. At his young age, he’s already won the FIFA World cup, multiple French Ligue 1 titles and a myriad of individual honors, including 2018-2019’s Ligue 1 player of the year. He is also France’s youngest ever World Cup goal scorer and only the second teenager to score in a World Cup final after the legendary Pele.The three editions, Standard, Champions and Ultimate were announced by EA and have a distinctive look when compared to previous years covers.
The Ultimate Edition is particularly striking, featuring Mbappe in his regular clothes as opposed to his Paris Saint-Germain or French kit as is usually standard. EA have also promised a guaranteed Ones To Watch special player item for FIFA Ultimate Team to anybody who preorders the Ultimate Edition by August 14.

The Ex-Chelsea man had an extremely underwhelming first season in Spanish Football making just over 20 league appearances and scoring a solitary goal for Los Blancos. Premier League Winner Virgil Van Dijk was the Cover Star on the Champions Edition ofFIFA 20, but EA have opted to keep in uniform across all three editions this year.
Mbappe shared onTwitterthat he was “Proud to be theFIFA 21Cover Star” and that it was a “dream come true.” In an interview on the FIFA 21 website Mbappe expanded his thoughts saying:

FIFA 21Standard Edition is out October 9 (Champions/Ultimate Editions October 6) and is available to pre-order now on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
