We have a new game taking the top spot of the UK sales chart for the 39th week of 2018 and it’s associated with that of the world’s most popular sport.
FIFA 19released last week and debuted in the top spot on last week’s UK sales chart. This endsMarvel’s Spider-Man’sstreak of holding the number one position since it released in early September. Despite this drop off thoughMarvel’s Spider-Manstill finished in second place and has now sold enough copies to become the second best-selling game of the year surpassing that ofFar Cry 5. Pretty crazy to see Spidey already pass FC5’s yearlong sales within less than a month, especially since it is only on one platform.
As for the rest of the pack this week,Shadow of the Tomb Raideronce again finished in Spider-Man’s shadow and came in at third withCrash Bandicoot N. Sane TrilogyandGrand Theft Auto Vrounding out this week’s top five.
