How to Reset Skill Points
The ability to reset skill points isn’t available from the start of the game.To unlock this feature you need to complete Chapter 3 of the main story, where you’ll see the Guild Office from the present time being constructed.
Once these requirements are met, you’ll gain access to theskill reset featurethrough an NPC calledLip Flowers.These talking flowers will serve as your gateway to resetting all skill points for a price of 10,000 Dosh.
Where to Find Lip Flowers to Reset Skill Points
There are only a total of two Lip Flowers available in the entire game.

Base Camp (Present)
The first Lip Flower that you’ll encounter in the game isLyle Lipsand will be available at the Guild Office, sitting just beside Auntie Anne.
The second Lip Flower isLucy Lips, which you may find once theBase Camp has been constructedin the present time.
Resetting skill points costs 10,000 Dosh and can be used as many times as you needso long as you have the money to pay for the service. The reset action only affects skill points and their allocations and will not affect the Life Rank of each of your Lives.
When to Reset Skill Points
Fantasy Life I’s skill tree is designed in a way that naturally protects you frommaking major mistakes early on. Since you’ll need to spread points across different branches to unlock higher tiers, you’re able to’t really over-specialize too early.
However, this doesn’t mean that all skill choices are equal, some Lives can definitely benefit from resetting skill points.
While most Lives can work with any skill distribution early on, gathering Lives may be the exception.These Classes depend heavily on landing Excellent drops to gain more materials.
If you hold out on getting the Sweet Spot Search skill in any of the gathering Life early on, you will struggle to keep a decent amount of SP, and you’ll find it very hard to get an Excellent drop in each of the ore deposits, trees, or fish that you’re trying to catch.
If you’re in the midgame, combat Lives can actually benefit from skill resets. For example, if you’re a Hunter who wants to forgo defense since you’re a ranged character anyway, you may want to spend your skill points on unlocking other bow skills.
The skill reset system becomes increasingly valuable during the midgame to late game when you’re tackling more challenging content orgrinding for more money.
While the 10,000 Dosh cost might seem initially steep, it’s a nice feature to have considering that you have all 14 Lives to go through, and sometimes, having the flexibility to simply try out other skills if it suits you is worth it.
