To celebrate the 25th anniversary of theFalloutseries, Bethesda hasannouncedthat they are launching a celebratory program, including in-game events, a free-to-play week, and various other promotions for those who have never experienced a Fallout game before.“In October of 1997, players first encountered Fallout’s post-nuclear world and its memorable characters, irradiated monstrosities, impactful conversations, and stark reminders that war…war never changes.” Bethesda outlined that they are not just celebrating Fallout’s birthday, they are also celebrating Fallout’s birthmonth. Alongside the free-to-play week, Bethesda revealed that Amazon Prime members can pick up Fallout 76 free until November 1. All active members have to do is check the Prime Gaming Rewards section to get their hands on the game’s post-apocalyptic world as soon as possible.

Lastly, in celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Fallout franchise, Bethesda will be launching a new update to Fallout Shelter, introducing a new quest line, enemies, and weapons.
