Well,Game of Thronesstar Finn Jones is probably out of the Marvel Cinematic Universe now. A gender-swapped Marvel superhero is soon going to be introduced in theBlack Pantheranimated spin-off, and it is set to result in Jones’ exit from the franchise.

With Disney and the Marvel Cinematic Universe being companions, it seems that Disney is taking superhero fatigue into consideration. The role of a fire-wielding martial arts expert will go to an actress rather than Finn Jones and to top it off, reports state that she will be canon in the MCU, thus, ending Jones’ term within the MCU!

Iron Fist Is Getting Gender-Swapped

A report in January was released that stated that the character of Iron Fist was going to get gender-swapped sometime in the future in the MCU. The character was earlier portrayed by English actorFinn Jones, known for portraying Ser Loras Tyrell in the iconic HBO showGame of Thrones.

The report, byComicBookMovie, stated that Netflix’sIron Fistwas one of the most disappointing non-canon MCU shows according to fans. On the same point, it seems that Disney doesn’t want to take risks with superhero fatigue and so, a new character was created.
