Meryl Streep is considered one of the finest actresses of all time, having 21 Academy Award nominations and three wins to her name. Streep has had a long and enduring career, with many critics and viewers hailing her as the best actress of her era. However, Sharon Stone, who is an equally celebrated actress, disagrees with the sentiment.
During an interview, Stone was asked about the experience of working with Streep. Stone wasn’t too pleased with the interviewer implying that Streep was a superior actress. As a result, Stone was unhappy with the implication that Streep was the only actress deserving of the Hollywood stature she has achieved and had a fiery response. Stone made the above statement, implying that she and other actresses were always quizzed about getting to work with Streep and not the other way around.
