For the past few days, the state ofBattlefront 2has been pretty egregious. Although the game has always had somewhat of a hacking and cheating problem on PC, in the last week, the issue has gotten so bad that playershaven’t been able to get into matches.

The current condition has made the Battlefront 2 on PC practically unplayable, leading to fans begging EA to fix the issue and allow them to return to playing the game.

Additionally, Kyber is set to continue to work on their dedicated community servers for Battlefront 2, implementing their own policy for cheating and hacking.

Although the main cause of the recent Battlefront 2 hacking is uncertain, one thing is clear: hackers are set to ruin everyone’s experience. The biggest problem the PC community is facing is in the bigger 40-player game modes, where cheaters have made it impossible for players to spawn.

Popular Series Removed From Xbox Game Pass, Fans Are Not Happy

Similar to hacks of games likeTitanfall 2andTeam Fortress 2, the hacks have no purpose other thanmaking the game entirely unplayable, crashing the player count, and terminating community support.

Luckily, the Battlefront 2 community seems to be staying strong. Support from Kyber appears to be pushing firmly against these hackers, and in their post, they state that “the integrity of gameplay is a top priority, and we rely on community vigilance to help us maintain fair standards.”

They go on to state that EA will “work on fixes independently and in collaboration with KYBER and the wider STAR WARS Battlefront II modding community.” It seems as though EA is keen to keep the game at least somewhat alive.

While this won’t mean the complete end for hacking in Battlefront 2, it shows a good amount of community support that means the game will have good legs to stand on in the future, especially with Kyber’s dedicated support.
