Today, Electronic Arts published a ‘this year in gaming’ recap for their various game series. It’s everything you might expect — Super Bowls were won in Madden, dying comrades were revived in Battlefield and the Ring claimed many lives in Apex Legends.
The section forEA FC 24had a couple of interesting tidbits, one of which was the game’s two all-time top scorers. Presumably, this encompasses every game mode. The all-time men’s top scorer was Paris Saint Germain’s Kylian Mbappe and the all-time women’s top scorer was Chelsea’s Sam Kerr. As two of the highest-rated strikers in EA FC 24, this should come as no surprise.

Also included were interesting statistics about the usage of women’s football cards in Ultimate Team. 772 million women’s player items are featured in the starting teams of player’s ultimate teams while 373 million starting squads have at least one women’s football player in the team. Personally speaking, PSG’s Féminine’s Sakina Karchaoui and Sandy Baltimore are two of my best players.
It speaks to EA’s decision to balance the game around mixed football matches, with the attributes of women being comparable to the attributes of men. While this predictably sparked controversy in some circles — I and many other players find it refreshing to have a wider pool of players to choose from.

While there’s much to learn in EA FC 24, here are the most important tips beginners need to master first.
Another amusing stat courtesy of this recap comes from The Sims 4 where 43 million infants were brought into the world and only 23 million sims left with the Grim Reaper. Whether these ratios indicate healthy population ratios or the beginning of a resource crisis, I do not know. ‘Woohoo’ was also had 345 million times by players in 2023.

However, the most important information that can be gleaned from the data provided is which hair and beard styles were the most popular choices for Cal Kestis in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. The answer is Crew Cut and Short Beard — which are very boring answers.
