Directed by Denis Villeneuve, the film features an ensemble cast led by Timothée Chalamet and adapts the second half of Frank Herbert’s sci-fi novel of the same name.

Dune: Part Twohas grossed over $189.5 million at the globalbox officeas fans are heading to theaters to experience the continuation of the epic sci-fi saga directed by Denis Villeneuve. On paper, the film’s combination of sci-fi and action elements coupled withHans Zimmer‘s score and Greig Fraser’s cinematography, make it perfect for experiencing the 4DX technology. However, at least some viewers had a rough time watching the movie in 4DX.
On X, user@em_keatesstated that watching the movie in 4DX was the wildest experience of her life, albeit not for the right reasons. In a lengthy discussion for theAV Club, Keates elaborated on her experience. She revealed the cons of watching the film in 4DX as it left her worrying about back pain. She stated the following:
“I have a lot of cons, as you’ve probably already gathered, but my biggest one is that I don’t think you should need a massage or a session with a chiropractor after seeing a movie.”
At the same time, Keates added that while she had a fun time watching the movie, she wished to see it in a normal theater as the augmented elements of 4DX distracted her from the cinematic experience. Similarly, anotherarticlefrom Chris Smith also pointed out the pros and cons of watching the movie in 4DX and complained about back pain from the experience.
