Directed by Denis Villeneuve,Dune: Part Oneis the first of the two-part adaptation of the 1965 novel of the same name by Frank Herbert. The movie stars Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Josh Brolin, Rebecca Ferguson and more. The story follows Paul Atreides as his family known as House Atreides is forced into a war for the deadly and inhospitable planet known as Arrakis.

The additional box office collection forDune: Part Onebrings the total collection of the movie to $433 million. According to reports byCollider, the re-released movie has grossed more than 2024 Academy Award contendersThe HoldoversandAmerican Fiction’s domestic run.
This move from Warner Bros. can be seen as a smart and calculative move to hype the release ofDune: Part Twowhich is scheduled for March release. It should be noted thatPart Oneis streaming for FREE on HBO Max but fans mentioned that since it has been hyped that the movie feels and looks way better in IMAX, they were excited to have that experience.
