What Stats Increase Upon Leveling Up
The player’s base stats, such as theirstrength, Magick,Stamina,Carry Capacity, etc., will increase upon leveling up.No matter what Vocation players have equipped, every stat will slowly increase over time, but theplayer’s Vocation will determine which stat gets more points.This is all predetermined and based on Vocation, as Fighters will get more points in Strength, Health, and Defense than a Mage.
While it may seem like this will have long-term effects on your character,switching your Vocation will completely reallocate all stats to values of that new Vocation as if you fully leveled up with that Vocation equipped.This system allows players to switch to any Vocation for any amount of time, withno consequences when switching back and forth.This means it’s important not to fixate on which stats increase when you see the level-up menu, as those values will be different should you switch your Vocation.
