Even though it has taken 12 years to get here,Dragon’s Dogma 2’s epic fantasy adventure filled with quests and monsters, has already taken reviewers by surprise. The early review scores are promising for the Capcom title, coming in at 87 onMetacritic, and a beefy score of 89 onOpenCritic. With only a day away before it releases to the public, it’s fair to say that this upcoming sequel could see the RPG on many players' GOTY lists, and maybe even onDualshockers' ownas well.
Of course, if the review scores aren’t something you take much notice of, this player’s epic troll battle could turn the tides on whether you pick it up or not.

Trolling In Dragon’s Dogma 2
If you don’t want to be spoiled by any aspect of Dragon’s Dogma 2, turn away now, but if you want to see an epic moment from the game where a player strategically uses a giant troll as a convenient bridge, we have a special little treat for you.
Steve Vegvari, who works in tech for various companies and is also a host on A Gaming Podcast, has shown off on X what they consider a Game of the Year moment for the Capcom title. While adventuring between the lands of Vermund and Battahl, Vegvari came across a very angry troll.

While looking for a way to cross to the other side, since the creature was manning the overpass, the colossal troll suddenly fell onto the bridge, breaking it but hung onto dear life to the other side, making for the most perfect troll bridge ever. And here’s me thinking trolls live under bridges? We are all for breaking away from norms here.
Not satisfied by seeing the poor troll stuck between the gaps and being made into a crossing, Vegvari decided to take the beast down as they couldn’t resist the XP from it. “Easiest XP I got in the 25 hours spent so far. Thanks troll buddy!” they stated in the thread. Many of the comments under the clip praised the game for this epic moment, with many saying that they would now go out and buy it. Probably the easiest PR Capcom could have ever wanted right there.
