Fast travelling inDragon’s Dogma 2can often be convoluted and fairly limited, especially for newcomers. As a result, you’re probably going to spend most of your time travelling on foot. Unless you’re willing to purchase some ludicrous microtransactions to get your hands on some extra Ferrystones, that is.

But, if you’re like me andprotest the idea of microtransactions in a single-player game, you’ve probably been on plenty of long-winded adventures in Dragon’s Dogma 2. But have you ever questioned if there’s a quicker way to traverse down a cliff face? Well one player has, and they discovered the perfect (and hilarious) solution.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 Players Are Calling Out This “Hilariously Bad” Stealth Quest

One player called it the worst quest they’ve ever done in a game.

While the trick is simple enough, you’ll need to make sure you’ve already taken care of a few things beforehand. To be specific, this hilarious trick requires players to have the advanced vocation: Magick Archer. To unlock it, you’ll need to complete the side quest ‘Put a Spring in Thy Step.’

Dragon’s Dogma 2

The quest can be started by heading to Agamen Volcanic Island and speaking to an NPC called Gautstafr, who can be found on the road and in great pain. After interacting with him, he’ll ask you to retrieve three Wildflowers or herbs in order to relieve his pain. After a few dialogue lines and shenanigans, you’ll be required to escort Gautstafr to the Hot Springs. After you complete the quest, you’ll be awarded with the Magick Archer advanced vocation.

Magick Archer is only available to the Arisen and cannot be equipped by Pawns. This special vocation allows the player to excel in long-range combat with magickal arrows, which is where you get to have some real fun.

After you’ve healed your Pawn, it’s time to make the leap of faith. Prizzaa wastes no time in diving face first off of the edge of the cliff, only to have her Pawn successfully catch her in time.

It’s a risky move, but if you’re able to pull it off, it’s going to save you a lot of time. And it’s pretty funny, which is always a bonus.
