Pressand content creators now have access to the shooter and have revealed that DOOM: The Dark Ages reviews will go up on Friday, May 9, at 7 am PDT/10 am EDT/4 pm CEST.
While some reviews will be posted immediately, other reviews, depending on the reviewer, will be posted a few hours or days later. The embargo lift is a good week ahead of its official release, suggesting that id Software is confident in its quality.

DOOM: The Dark Ages is around 84GB on PS5, and the Xbox Series X|S and PC versions shouldn’t be far from this figure. If you bought the game’s Premium Edition, the digital artbook is a hefty 17.5GB in size.

For PC players, you cancheck out the DOOM: The Dark Ages PC requirementsto see if your rig can handle it or not.

While you’ll have to wait for the official DualShockers review, we did manage to get someearly hands-on time with the shooterearlier this year, and we mentioned, “Doom: The Dark Ages might have a different look from its predecessors, but it feels like a natural progression that stays true to the roots of the franchise. Doom Eternal was a good game, but it didn’t feel like Doon. With The Dark Ages, grounding the combat and slowing things down is a huge step in the right direction.”
Prepare to enter hell again when DOOM: The Dark Ages releases May 15 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
