If you wonder how inDiablo 2 Resurrectedyou can add Sockets to your items, here we have you covered with two different methods.
Having the right equipment in your inventory is an essential tip in Diablo 2 Resurrected, but that’s not enough. You will need to constantly upgrade your gears to be able to match the increasing level of enemies as your progress through the story.
Using Runewords is one of the best ways to increase the effectiveness of your gears and improve their stats. However, you wouldn’t be able to use Runewords until your gears have the required number of Sockets. That’s why adding Sockets in Diablo 2 Resurrected is important.
Diablo 2 - How to Add Sockets
There are two general ways to add Sockets to your items in Diablo 2 Resurrected. We will go over both methods here.
Visit Larzuk
Once you are in Act V, you’re able to complete a quest for Larzuk that includes killing Shenk the Overseer. Once done, you can revisit Larzuk and ask him for adding Sockets to your items. The number of Sockets that you can get for each item depends on the difficulty level you are playing at as well as the item’s rarity.
Keep in mind that you can only ask once from Larzuk for adding a Socket to your item in each difficulty level. As a result, each character build of yours can only benefit three times from Larzuk’s help on adding Sockets.
Use Harodric Cube Recipes
If you have already passed Act II, then you have probably collected the Harodric Cube, but if you haven’t, verify to read our guide onSkills' Respec, where we have explained the way to get the Harodric Cube.
Harodric Cube will only add Sockets to White or Grey items, and the number of Sockets it adds is random. Below, you can find the recipes to get Sockets from Harodric Cube:
Once one item has the required number of Sockets, you may use Runewords to improve its stats.
