Bungie has once again confirmed the release of a brand newDestiny 2update on June 7, with servers being brought offline for a brief period of time prior to the release of the latest patch.
Today’s update will merely include some adjustments, bug fixes, and improvements, so don’t get your hopes up for any new content. However, if you would like to know exactly what the June 7 update is for, the full server maintenance schedule and patch notes forDestiny 2can be found below.
Destiny 2 Server Maintenance Schedule
As confirmed via the officialBungie Help Twitter account,Destiny 2will be brought offline for a short period of time on June 7th to deploy the latest hotfix update.
Background maintenance will begin at 9AM PT / 12PM ET / 5PM BST. During this time, players wonât have any issues logging intoDestiny 2, but they will be removed from all activities at 9:45AM PT / 12:45PM ET / 5:45PM BST.
Servers will then be brought offline for a total of 15 minutes, meaning players will be able to log back in and play at 10AM PT / 1PM ET / 6PM BST. Following the completion of today’s maintenance, patch 4.1.0.2 will be deployed on all supported platforms and will be a mandatory download if you want to continue playingDestiny 2.
The developers have also confirmed that background maintenance will continue for a further hour, during this time players may experience some connectivity issues.
