These fragments can give your build some serious advantages while also giving you buffs or debuffs to your character’s main stats. This list will cover the ten best fragments that you should check out for your next Strand build.

The Thread of Transmutation Fragment is a good start for those who play PVP a lot. Its ability will create Tangles with final blows from weapons while you have the Woven Mail effect. This is great in PVP, where making Tangles naturally is more difficult. You will also get a flat +10 Strength bonus from just equipping the fragment.
It is this low on the list, however, because there are way better ways to make Tangles in PVE and hybrid activities. Use this fragment if you plan on braving The Crucible or Trials Of Osiris. You can pick up this fragment for 200Strand Meditationsat the Pouka Pond Meditation spot.

This is a great fragment to use paired with the Shackle Grenade. If you feel like going without your grapple ability, pick up this fragment. Defeating suspended targets with precision final blows creates an Orb of Power while this fragment is equipped.
This is also a great choice for Titans using the Berserker Strand super, as its alternate fire will suspend targets. This will help you defeat the enemies when your super runs out and get more Orbs toward your next one. As with all the fragments, this will cost you 200 Strand Meditations.

If you like using the newly added Strand weapons, this fragment is for you. When you use this fragment, your Strand weapon’s final blows have a chance to create a Threadling. Thread of Rebirth is also great to add to the new Warlock Strand subclass, Broodweaver.
With these two combined, you will essentially have an army of Threadlings at your side. Other classes can benefit from this fragment as well if you are building to make as many Threadlings as possible. This fragment will cost you another 200 Strand Meditations.

Speaking of spawning Threadlings, here is another good fragment for doing so. Thread of Finality will make your finishers generate Threadlings. You will also get a sweet +10 Recovery bonus with this fragment as well.

This is a great choice for Warlocks again or anyone needing a recovery boost. The fragment is also a great choice for casual PVE activities, such as the Vanguard Strikes Playlist and Gambit Playlist. An additional 200 Strand Meditations are required to buy this fragment.
This fragment requires a bit of a trade-off. Thread of Generation causes damage you do to generate grenade energy. However, you also lose 10 Discipline, the grenade cooldown stat. If you have plenty of poison, unraveling effects, or damage over time sources, this may be worth equipping.

It could outpace the normal refresh that the 10 Discipline could have added. Witherhoard, one of thebest exotic weapons, could help a lot with this fragment. It will also cost another 200 Strand Meditations.
This fragment is great for those who want to be on add control with their Threadlings. Thread of Evolution makes Threadlings travel farther and deal additional damage. The fragment also includes a +10 Intellect boost. This is the number one option for Broodweaver Warlocks.
Especially when paired with their newexotic armor piece, Swarmers. The fragment is also a great choice for anyone else building around Threadlings. Plus, the boost in super ability cooldown speed is amazing. It will cost you another 200 Strand Meditations.
Thread of Isolation is a great option for dealing with high-damage enemies like Tormentors. The fragment’s effect causes rapid precision hits to emit a severing burst from the target. Severing is great because it causes a reduction in enemy damage by 50%! That’s a pretty huge amount.
It’s a great choice for keeping you and your fire team alive in higher-level activities, such as Raids and Dungeons. It is also great when paired with a scout rifle or sniper rifle. Sadly, this will also set you back another 200 Strand Meditations.
Here’s a great choice for all the Hunter mains out there. Thread of Ascent makes activating your grenade ability to reload your currently equipped weapon and grants increased weapon handling and airborne effectiveness for a short time. You will also receive a flat +10 Mobility boost.

This fragment is almost a must for Hunters and a solid choice for any other class. It is also great when paired with the Grapple Grenade ability because of all the time you spend in the air. Thread of Ascent will also cost you another 200 Strand Meditations.
The Thread of Continuity fragment is an amazing choice for higher-level PVE activities. It causes suspend, unravel, and severe effects applied to targets have increased duration. Not only that, but it also includes a +10 Strength boost.
It’s great to have enemies not move for longer as well as the included 50% damage reduction from enemies last even longer. Any class can easily take advantage of this great fragment. Thread of Continuity can also be purchased for another 200 Strand Meditations.
This is by far the best Strand fragment in the game currently. Thread of Warding makes picking up an Orb of Power grant Woven Mail. You will also lose 10 Resilience. While this sounds like a downside, Woven Mail grants a huge 60% boost to damage resistance in PVE.
This is incredibly powerful despite the Resilience penalty. Thanks to the new armor mod system, it has never been easier to create Orbs. This is great for any Strand user but almost a must-have for Titans. Get this fragment as early as you can for 200 Strand Meditations.
