The much-anticipatedDelta Force: Black Hawk Down campaign isreleasing this Friday, February 21st. Players have already been jumping into the free-to-play multiplayer mode of the title, but Black Hawk Down aims to provide fans with a much different story-based experience.
Delta Force Black Hawk Down Release Date & Details
The developers announced the date via a short teaser video showing Black Hawks going down.
While it’s been confirmed that Black Hawk Down will be a cooperative experience, a recent preview event for the title revealed some more clarity into how co-op will actually function in the game.

Here’s everything you need to know based onmy early impressions from the preview event.
Black Hawk Down Is A One-To-Four Player Campaign
Fans of squad-based shooters will be pleased to learn that Black Hawk Down is playable with a group of up to four. This means you’ll be able to play with your friends, or you can opt to experience the campaign alone.
The game features four different classes, and multiple players are not allowed to claim the same character. A full group of four players will feature a well-rounded squad of Assault, Support, Sniper, and Medic classes.

Each class features its own unique options for weaponry and one special ability. For example, the Medic class boasts double the amount of healing items compared to the others, making it the easiest class to survive while using.
Solo Is The Hardest Way To Play
While the game is entirely playable alone, players should note that playing the campaign solo is the most difficult option. A solo player will be given more health and ammo when playing alone, but these perks are still a more challenging substitute for playing the title with a group.
The health and ammo amounts that are given to players in a group of two to four do not scale based on the number of party members, making a full squad of four people the easiest way to tackle this particularly difficult campaign.
