And since she’s become a popular figure to find here, today I’ll briefly explain the specifics ofhow you may unlock and find Usada Pekora in Death Stranding 2so you can make deliveries for her and get a unique accessory item for Sam in the process.
Find And Unlock The Pizza Chef
The good news is that Pekora is one of the preppers that you’ll encounter via the main story progression in Death Stranding 2.
The requirement to reach her is first unlocking the Pizza Chef, which can be done via Main Order No. 024,immediately after connecting and meeting up with Heartman at his lab.
You’ll essentially need to deliver Beach Yeast—classified as a Chilled order, meaning you’ll either have to deliver it at night or when it’s rainingto maintain its designated temperature. Otherwise, exposing it to sunlight or heat will damage and degrade its contents.
Thankfully, the chef isn’t too far away. However, the only obstacle here is getting past the nearby armed survivalist base, which could complicate things.
Still, you may either do that or, like me, take out the survival base itself first and then make the delivery afterwardto make it feel like a walk in the park.
Once you’ve successfully made the delivery and connected the Pizza Chef to the Chiral Network, you’ll now be one step closer to finally meeting Usada Pekora in Death Stranding 2 via the next main story order given to you by the chef himself.

Deliver Pizza To The Data Scientist
Our next order involves delivering a piping-hot pizza to the Data Scientist, and I think at this point you’ll know who that ‘scientist’ is, but I’ll refrain from spoiling until the end.
The order has a target time of completing it in under 10 minutes,because why would anyone serve someone a cold pizza?
Here’s the important thing: If you’re familiar with the first game and the pizza delivery order in that, you might remember how it required you to lay the cargo horizontally flat on your back.
Well, that instruction applies here once again; otherwise, you’ll end up ruining the pizza.
The easiest option is to craft afloating carrier for use with overweight cargo, but there’s a more straightforward way to carry it on your back.
You can place it horizontally if you’ve got an XL cargo or one large and a medium cargo; the latter is showcased in the image above.
Since this is a time-sensitive order, I recommend using atri-cruiser vehicleto make quick work of this delivery.
The game will likely auto-arrange in the correct position. Just make sure you’re notcarrying any excess cargoso you’re able to have it optimally placed during the prep screen. Make any additional preparations as needed, then head out to meet the Data Scientist.
The Data Scientist’s bunker is located deep within a rock pillar area.Be wary, as a gate quake can trigger here, shattering any of these formations and causing them to land on you,as I’ve shown above.
Moreover,you can also encounter the tarantula chiral creatures nearby on the canyon walls of the area,but if you’re on the tri-cruiser bike like I suggested, you should easily be able to race past without giving them a chance to pose as an obstruction.
The Data Scientist has placed Mole Mines near her facility. Be sure to promptly scan their locations and evade them promptly.
Once you safely reach the Data Scientist, turn in the pizza delivery and get them on board the Chiral Network.
