Ever since the originalDeath Stranding, the core gameplay loop surrounding the Strand Multiplayer System has been one of the most downright creative things I’ve ever experienced—I mean, who doesn’t love getting showered in likes by their fellow porters?
It’s like getting an unapologetic amount of praise and love from someone for your hard-earned efforts. And I’m not even accounting for the dopamine rush you get here, because whether it’s from NPCs or fellow Sams from other worlds, having a high number of likes is the ultimate superiority certificate in this game.

If you’re looking for ways to maximize your portfolio’s prowess on the Bridge Links with fellow porters and friends, continue reading my guide, where I showcase the methods of how to gain likes quickly inDeath Stranding 2.

Building Structures
Bear with me if this one sounds like the most obvious way to get likes quickly, butbuilding your own structuresis genuinelythe most optimal way to slowly but surely gain a considerable amount of likesfrom other players, especially when you focus on building the essential ones.
For instance, I found that crafting some of the more helpful structures from your PCCs, such as theTimefall Shelters, Generators, and even Ziplines can reward a ton of likes from other players, but try to place them strategically since you can’t just put one at your leisure in a middle of the valley or zone.

What I like to do is place Timefall Shelters near or just amidst the BT-infested areas or have Generators placed during long treks of land or even partway along highways, since other players will more than likelywant to charge their vehicleswhen partaking in an extended delivery trip.
You’ll be tempted to live and thrive off of other players' structures rather than your own. Still, I strongly advise against that, since crafting your own will allow them to be shown to other players, increasing their probability of getting noticed and your chances of being showered with likes by those same players.

Constructing Roads
If, like me, you have a worryingly high amount of time on the first game, you must have known or seen the idea behind the game’s highway rebuilding aspect via constructing roads. It was one of the most satisfying things to do, thanks to the payoff of receiving a ton of likes from the world and other players.
You can alsorepair monorail track layersand get relatively the same results with the likes and contributions.

Death Stranding 2: How To Increase Carry Capacity
Carry that weight without breaking a sweat or Sam’s entire back.
Well, that highway creation gig is back, so suffice to say that you’ll be once again grinding to get a ton of ceramics and metals. It sounds like a lot of work, but it’s worth it since you’ll receive tons of likes for your contribution to the highway.Plus, it obviously makes delivery routes on vehicles a breeze.
Moreover, you also have access to these resources from the newly introduced mines across the continent in exchange for other materials, so it’s pretty much a no-brainer for me to tell you how building these roads is invaluable for gaining likes.
Fulfilling Online Aid Requests
Among the newest additions introduced to this game, the option to create andfulfill Online Aid Requestsis one that I appreciate the most, as it allows you tohelp other players by providing them with materials, tools, weapons, and other useful supplies.
You’ll come across dozens of these requests scattered throughout the environment or near preppers and distribution centers. And if you can spare any item in your inventory or quickly craft one, I urge you to do so, as fulfilling these requests will reward you with upwards of 100 likes.
It isn’t much, but considering you can do a bulk of these at a given time, it’s absolutely worth it. Additionally, most of the requests I’ve seen on my end require either tools or fieldwork items. It includes a variety of equipment that can be crafted with a low amount of materials, such as boots, ladders, and Blood Bags.
Leaving Signs
Similar to the messages you’re able to leave in theSoulsborne series, Death Stranding 2 offers the option to leave signs in the world, whether it’s just a playful one for fun or an indicator to alert players to points of interest. It’s a returning feature from the previous game, one that retains a welcoming vibe.
Although laying them down and waiting for the results can take a while, signs are an excellent way to generate likes.Besides manually giving likes on each one individually, players can reward you with one like every time they pass through your sign.
So, what I like to do (and I imagine it’s the same for the rest of the players who’ve laid these down in bulk) is to put down signs on the slopes leading down to distribution center kiosks, at random intervals on the highway, or in general spots where other players are bound to pass by on their travels.

This guide explains how to build bridges in Death Stranding 2: On the Beach.
It only takes a few seconds to lay these down, andthere’s no actual limit to placing them,so I strongly suggest doing this whenever possible. Plus, depending on how you perceive them, these signs also act as a positive or motivational boost on some occasions for players.
Retrieving Lost Cargo
Lastly, this is a method that not only earns you a vast number of likes but also allows you toquickly maximize your connection level with every facility, which you’ll need to do if you’re pursuing the Platinum Trophy in Death Stranding 2.
Lost cargo for preppers and distribution centers can be found throughout the world on random occasions. These will often be marked with the respective facility’s name, indicating where they need to be delivered. Sometimes, you may even stumble upon other players' cargo, which can earn you extra porter likes.
Suppose you happen to run into them as you’re making other deliveries, and the designated facility is on your path or is the current destination. In that case,it doesn’t hurt to pick these up, since they’ll lessen the platinum trophy grindtowards the end and also earn you a chunk of likes for your troubles.
