TheDeadpool 2sequel, which is a part of the Disney and Marvel Cinematic Universe, is currently filming in London and stars Hugh Jackman as Wolverine.
In the 2003 film,Daredevil, Garner, 51, portrayed Elektra, an assassin, opposite Ben Affleck, who is now her ex-husband. She went on to play Elektra in the same-titled film later in 2005.In 2021, Garner toldTHRthat she was disappointed, particularly in light of the way that Kevin Feige had created critically acclaimed Marvel movies. She said:
“It’s such a shame, honestly, because once Kevin took over, everything there was elevated: the writing, the direction, the comedy inside of the stories they were telling. And I did not have that experience.”

However, Corrin (who identifies as non-binary and uses the pronouns they/them) previously spoke withEmpireand expressed how excited they were to play an evil character:
“I feel really excited to play a villain. I haven’t done that, and it’s an itch I want to scratch.”
