The Brutalizer is one of the deadliest weapons inDead Island 2, and there is a lot of zombie slaying players need to do to complete the quest. With perks such as Bloodlust, Contagious, and Reinforced, the Brutalizer not only makes it much easier to defeat zombies but can also give you some significant stat boosts along the way.

However, as powerful as the weapon is, you need to complete a series of quests to be able to get your hands on it. Here is how to complete the Body Art questline, which will help you get the Brutalizer as a reward.
Completing The Mission
This is one of the longest side quests in the game, and probably the most annoying as well. The reason for that is you need to rely on a lot of RNG elements to be able to complete the mission. Before you start working on these quests, you need to ensure that you have completed “The Giant Slayer” quest, along with “Resurrect The Rex” and “The Ballad of Rikky Rex.” After that, head. to Beverly Hills and speak with Francesca to start the quest.
Body Art: Visionary
The first part of the quest is quite straightforward, all you need to do is kill as many zombies as you can to get infected flesh. You just need 10 pieces of this, and it isn’t that difficult to get infected flesh, so you should be able to complete this pretty quickly. Head out in the wild and start slaying zombies unless you have acquired enough flesh then head back to Francesca to complete the quest.

Body Art: Heft
For the second quest, you need to find oversized arm bones. These can only be acquired by slaying Crushers and Inferno Crushers, which can be easily located by heading towards Venice Beach, which is an area dominated by the variant. Additionally, Mutators might also drop this item, but the chance is very low so you are better off farming Crushers. It should be noted that you may get this drop from any type of Crusher, so if you see those buffed-up zombies anywhere, it’s a good idea to slay them. Thankfully, you need only five of them to complete the quest. Once you have enough, go back to Beverly Hills and then hand them over to Francesca.
Body Art: Moist
After taking down the Crushers, your next target is Slobbers for their Chthonic Ichor. Slobbers are one of the rarer enemies in Dead Island 2, so it might be slightly tricky to find. A good place to look for them is the house in Beverly Hills where players head for the Clean and Snatch quest. Maiming Slobbers improves the chances to get a Chtonic Ichor drop, so you should ensure that you do that as well.

Body Art: Uproar
For the next quest, you need to collect Infected Spine, and it is one of the most difficult ones to get not because of its rarity but because of how difficult it is to defeat the enemy dropping it. Infected Spine is dropped by Screamers, and while you might find them right opposite Francesca’s house, it might take a while for you to kill enough of them to collect 5 Infected Spines.
Body Art: Vigor
For the second last fetch quest, you need to bring three blade arms which can be obtained from Butchers. Butchers are much easier to find as compared to the other zombies, as you might simply head to the Santa Monica Pier or the Metro to find some.
Body Art: Dread
Lastly, you need three mutated hearts which can be found in Mutators. If you have already completed the game, you might find Mutators on the streets quite frequently. However, if you haven’t you’re able to head to the exit point near the Metro at Hollywood Boulevard to find a Mutator. You can keep fast traveling back and to this area to keep respawning them until you have collected enough of the item.
Body Art: Unveiling
Once you have found all the items above and given them to Francesca, your final task is to view the masterpiece Francesca has created. For that, fast-travel to Roxanne’s house to see what Francesca has created and get your hands on the Legendary Brutalizer.
