Marvel lately has been dropping a lot of easter eggs for fans to find out, and after it recently accidentally confirmed that Daredevil was alive during the blip, fans have been busy making theoretical situations that would best suit the upcomingDaredevil: Born Againnarrative.
While countless theories are floating around on the internet, one interesting theory is that Charlie Cox’s crime-fighting street vigilante may come across an Avenger during the events of the blip. And it is none other than Hawkeye aka Ronin who could be his first Avenger ‘victim’ as fans reckon.

Slowly, fans are getting all the answers they sought regardingCharlie Cox‘s fan-favorite character, Daredevil. AfterEchoconfirmed that Matt Murdock was alive and up and about during the blip, there have been numerous fan theories going around regarding the potential plot ofDaredevil: Born Again.
With the absence of (most of) the mighty Avengers and Spider-Man, it is highly likely that Daredevil must be busy keeping the city of New York and its network of criminals under his check while also playing Matt Murdock during the day.
And sinceJeremy Renner‘s Hawkeye, aka MCU’s Ronin, was quite busy fighting ‘criminals’ all over the world including New York, it is potentially impossible that the two must have not come across. The fan theory sets up an epic battle between the two, making it the first time for Charlie Cox’s Daredevil to go head-to-head against an Avenger.
Both characters have previously teamed up and clashed in the comics, but their persona and capabilities in the MCU differ vastly from their comic-book counterparts. While both are certainly formidable, Daredevil is more equipped in hand-to-hand combat and has even defeated ninjas with swords in his Netflix series, which fans reckon makes him the better fighter between the two.
However, this is just a theory, and whetherDaredevil: Born Againwill feature this storyline is tough to know but the possibility of it happening has nonetheless left fans excited.

How Would A Daredevil-Hawkeye/Ronin Clash Work
Charlie Cox’s Daredevil fighting Clint Barton’s Hawkeye would be an epic showdown and most fans would even go as far as making a deal with the devil to witness it inDaredevil: Born Again. But how would such a clash work or come about is fairly simple. Since we already know how Daredevil, despite his rural ways, works, he would be against how Ronin chooses to deal with criminals.
And since Ronin had also set foot in New York, since he killed Maya’s father in the city, there is every chance that Daredevil would have found out about him. Either their clash would be reminiscent of the Daredevil-Punisher combat as seen in the Netflix series, or it may come about to them teaming up to defeat a common enemy.
While many reckon that Matt Murdock would certainly win against Clint Barton in the MCU, it would really be a treat watching the crime-fighting street vigilante take on an Avenger.
Although it isn’t confirmed yet,Daredevil: Born Againis expected to be released at either the end of 2024 or early 2025.
