WithCyberpunk 2077’s messy launch, some sources indicated that CDPR’s focus has completely shifted to fixing the technical issues on all platforms, especially PS4 and Xbox One, rather than working on the multiplayer section of the game. However, it seems some of the multiplayer codes have already been implemented into the current version of the game asnew searches from data minershave apparently led to some details about the missions and modes that could be played in the multiplayer mode. Of course, until this information is officially confirmed, take it with a pinch of salt for now.

According to what an anonymous source has found from the executable file ofCyberpunk 2077on PC, there are some multiplayer-related codes that refer to two kinds of game modes, including Heists and Deathmatch. Allegedly, the Heist mode in the multiplayer section features some objective-based missions that players should accomplish together, more likeGrand Theft Auto Online’s Heist missions.
