Ever since it was first unveiled, CD Projekt Red’s upcomingCyberpunk 2077has captured the imagination of fans everywhere thanks toits stunning world and futuristic tech. Of course, given the love that fans have had for the studio’s other popular series withThe Witcher, that has lead to some impressive fan mashups of the two worlds, including this stunning fan art that reimagines Geralt in Night City.
Artist RX Art (viaArtStation) shared a new piece of fan art that takes Geralt out of The Continent and puts him into Night City, with the main illustration showing Geralt with “Roach” (in this case, a motorcycle) inhabiting the futuristic city. What especially sets this fan art apart are the sheer amount of little details and touches that RX put into the piece to make this fan art not only incredible, but also somewhat plausible. Alongside the main illustration, RX also shared a number of other pieces of fan art that adapt Geralt’s weapons and abilities into the world ofCyberpunk 2077.
This includes giving Geralt a cybernetic robot arm that takes Geralt’s Sign abilities and turns them intoCyberpunk-style equivalents, such as an energy shield and flamethrower. Geralt’s twin swords also were reimagined by RX as a pair of pistols that have special capabilities for taking out humans and cyborgs, while his Witcher vision is also turned into a cybernetic augment that enhances his vision.
Given that CD Projekt Red themselves put an easter egg inThe Witcher 3with Ciri that hinted at the world ofCyberpunk 2077, hopefully RX’s fantastic work is a tease that we might get some easter eggs inCyberpunkthat brings in some references to Geralt and the world ofThe Witcher.
In terms of other impressive fan creations from the worlds ofCyberpunkandThe Witcher, another pair of illustrations from Hybra_artalso imagined what it would look like for Geralt and Ciri to be in Night City. Meanwhile, another fan is going as far as trying tocreate a real-life model of the Quadra V-Tech carfrom the game in foam form.
Cyberpunk 2077will release for PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia on June 18, 2025. For a closer
