Knowledge is power, and having theknowledge of the various monstersyou will come across can be the difference between life and death. Some will be malicious while others are virtually harmless. Though technically you can’t really defeat these creatures, there are strategies you can utilize to avoid getting attacked.

So far, there have been17 creatures discoveredso far in Content Warning. Out of those 17, there have only been a couple that seem to be passive while the others are quite dangerous. Luckily, most of these creatures can be avoided while still gaining content from them. Themore players playingthe better to help you escape some of these monsters.

There are a couple ofitems you’re able to purchasethat could help you escape. One tool you can buy is the Shock Stick, which will stun some enemies long enough for you to escape. You can also use the Goo Ball on an enemy, which will temporarily stunlock a monster. Both of these items can bepurchased from the Gadgetsmenu at the kiosk just outside your house.

Escape Techniques

Barnacle Ball

The wind from this monster spinning creates a current sucking you towards it and taking a large portion of your health when it throws you. It also has a projectile attack that can hit you from a distance if it knows you’re there. To escape, simply hide behind structures or walls while trying to create a large distance between you and the monster.

Unfortunately, all you can do is be aware of your surroundings and if you spot Big Slap, run. You will lose most, if not all, of your health from being hit by this monster.

If you get too close, bombs will kill you and this creature. you may use its own ammunition against itself by having it throw a bomb at you, then luring it towards the bomb by running.

From a distance, you can see the red laser sights, which gives you a chance to turn around. If you’re in the line of sight, you will be shot by projectiles. Escape by quickly running away, around corners, or by hopping over the Dog’s head.

This monster has excellent hearing. Therefore, to escape, you must back away slowly. Do not run as that will alert it. If this monster grabs you, try yelling into your mic as it is sensitive to loud noises.

Do not shine your light directly on this creature because it will notice you immediately. If you get chased by it, simply sprint away. If you have a full stamina bar, then you should be able to quickly outrun this monster.

The Content Warning character is about to have a bomb thrown at them from the Bombs monster.

You must run at the first signs of this monster. Flicker is typically invisible, but you will see signs that it’s close. If your camera begins glitching or blurring, then this means Flicker is getting close. If your screen starts flashing red, that means Flicker is extremely close. If your screen is flashing red, your safest bet is to stare at the wall and make your way out of the building. If you look at the Flicker it’s said that you will instantly die.

To escape Jello, you just have to run away. However, it is one of the fastest enemies and outrunning it might be difficult. Luckily, it’s typically harmless. The first time it grabs you, it will take you for a ride around the building and will try to drop you in the vicinity of other enemies. Keep in mind that if it grabs you a second time, it will try to throw you at something to cause health damage or actually kill you. If you get caught the first time, after you’re released, run away from this monster just to be on the safe side.

Knifo (Harpoon)

This creature is known as Knifo or Harpoon and will chase you around with a knife. The only way to escape is to outrun it. Try to have a full stamina bar and run for about 30 seconds to lose it. Alternatively, you can get it to leap at you if you’re sure you can dodge the leap, then run from it. This monster will take a couple seconds to recover from the leap, so you’ll have more time to run.

This centipede creature can move quickly if it is determined to grab you. Keep your eyes peeled and if you see it in the distance, start running away. It will pick you up and throw you at your friends. If you fail to escape, tell your friends to run away so at least they can live.

If you’re with another player, this creature will seldom attack, as it typically attacks if you’re alone. If you see this creature when you’re alone, turn around and run away. It has been known to mute your friends after it lets out a scream as well.

This creature will steal the item you’re holding if you collide with it. If you get too close to it, it will disappear. It is not guaranteed it will attack you. However, if you have no items for it to steal, it might take you and kill you. If you see this creature, either run the other way or make sure you have an item, so it doesn’t try to kill you. Shining a light on it may help you escape.

This is essentially a giant starfish on the ceiling that has a virtually invisible sensor hanging from it that grabs any prey that touches it. If you get caught, have a friend throw an item at it, so it releases you. You could also attempt to drop items to distract it. Once you get released, immediately run away as it will try to grab you again.

Run away from the Spider to escape it while being aware of the webs it spits at you. If it catches you with the web, it can be difficult to escape. This will allow for the Spider or other nearby enemies to attack you.

Toolkit Whisk

When this enemy is near, you will hear a blender noise. Fortunately, this enemy can only move in a straight path. Therefore, it should be easy to outrun if you move from side to side occasionally. You can even bait it to fly towards you, then when it begins moving, simply run away and out of sight.

Keep an eye out for this creature. If you do see it, it’s suggested you walk backward while keeping your eyes on it. If you turn your back to it, it will move quickly towards you and trap you in the cage. A friend will have toenter a Captcha, but it will be timed. Your friends will have a few tries to get you out and if they fail, the cage will kill you. If you’re playing solo, you won’t be able to escape.

These are some of the slowest enemies in the game, though they can creep up on you. If you get grabbed, they will take some of your health before letting you go. You can avoid it by walking or running away from the area it’s in. Once you get out of sight, it should give up on chasing you, though sometimes it will still follow you throughout the map and reappear randomly.
